@ blue: To be honest, we never got any follow up on it. :-) It was said he was offered a role for a south remake which Salman wanted to buy the rights of, not that he was competing with Salman for the role. To make it clear for once and for all, it was more like a competition between the production houses who wanted to buy rights of the remake. There is no comparison between Sushant and Salman here, in fact, I dont think anyone even meant to compare them. :-)

No one knows who or what production house offered, or whether Sushant even considered it. He hadn't actually planned to do movies then, he wanted to be a director actually.

@red: Sigh.. I wish that too.😳 I mean I love him and love praising him to no end.. but its means more to me when OTHERS praise him and not us usual fans. And that will happen only when we see his work.

For Sushant fans its much better to take a page out of Sushant's book, be modest and quiet, wait for the film to release and the work to do the talking. Much better than gloating and ending up with egg on our faces later.😳😆

So overall he replaced Shahid in 3 films.😆
