What a Shame: My Rant.

Note; Today no gifs will be included because I feel sad!

I do not have much to say in regards to this episode because I've never seen anything like this in real life. That is the husband's family trying to get rid of their daughter in law.

But the start of the Taiji and Prasahnt's long march towards Scindia Mansion reminded me of this:

The black king moved with the help of an all too powerful bishop across the board into the innards of Scindia Mansion to defeat the pawn that was one step away from becoming a queen.

I was reminded of the Hadith when Prasahnt and taiji dragged and caged Shoba in her own house.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: A person came to Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and asked, "Who among people is most deserving of my fine treatment?'' He (PBUH) said, "Your mother". He again asked, ''Who next?'' "Your mother", the Prophet (PBUH) replied again. He asked, "Who next?'' He (the Prophet (PBUH)) said again, "Your mother.'' He again asked, "Then who?'' Thereupon he (PBUH) said,'' Then your father.''

Prashant will never have his mother's blessings in any endeavor from this day forward, I feel. At that moment I wished that Shobha had stopped her lecture on love and force and just went ahead and cursed him for all eternity!

Also I'm going to digress to state this, now I have developed a phobia of living in Indian houses that can be locked form the outside, also the rooms.

***

And then we see Arti with the children and Ansh toy car come and spill all the blue colored water onto the painting was kind of an indication I thought. An indication that the debate is not going to be about the glass is half full or half empty, but the debate would be about the contents of what the glass holds. Therefore all the murkiness that is holding in the glass should be thrown out along with the glass is it?

Well yes all of those are allegories for Arti and the lies she holds!

***

Come to take away the Keemthi cheez the Taiji said. Maya the Bua is asking why are you calling us thieves.

So SP's ego got hurt in the end when Arti agreed that she is a divorcee and Prashant was the divorced husband who by the way is not dead! How fortunate says the Taiji! So come back to the husband wayward woman she seems to be of the opinion and my opinion differs here because she is asking a married woman to come and lie with a man who has no marriage rights on Arti. Have they no shame!

What Shameless creatures!

What a shame that SP could not grasp the matter in a mature way! But I should not be surprised because he does not agree with women having rights to work. So therefore I should not hope more than what he is capable of understanding.

To all of them it was deceitful of Arti .

Arti atlast choose to tell them truth and I just want to say what right they have to judge Arti. From there onwards I was disconnected with the episode. I could not fathom why Arti had to be chased out of the house nonetheless by parents of the husband.

Doesn't the husband have a say in this. Don't they have to say they do not want this wife!

Like I said I'm banking on Yash to speak up and fight for what is right and what is rightfully his own keemti cheez! Oh else it would be shame for me to watch this show from this point on!

Angel this is really a rare case that u hv put no emoticons in your take and which clearly tells how much disgusted u were watching Taiji's rant and SP's old school decision making without taking the husband in confidence at all ...

To b honest even I hv pinned all my hopes on Yash now and I m sure he will rise upto the occasion today and will tell all that Aarti is legally his wife and so he has the right to take this particular decision and noone else ...

I hope Yash gives proper education to all about the definition of a divorcee so that noone dares to say Prashant is Aarti's husband 😡😡...

Its a interesting debate actually between two generations and I really want to see a heated debate between Yash and SP on this

Hey, I love this take!!! More than Yash not speaking up, I had hoped for Aarti to speak up honestly...
I wish she had just apologised for lying and continuously hiding the truth for them (this is her mistake and they are justified in being angry for this) but make it clear that there is nothing wrong with her being a divorcee...her first husband is a jerk and it was her good fortune that he left her! And it does not make her less than a human that she is a divorcee...
And I am also saddened by the fact that you see other females having this kinda mentality abt their fellow females...You know ppl like Bua and Taiji exist in this real world not just in the reel world!
I am hopeful that CVs would eventually show that it does not matter if you are a divorcee or a widow but everyone gets a second chance in life!!!

@Angel: Today I agree completely with your rant in all its seriousness. I am by choice the least demanding audience and by choice see the show with blinkers on. Yet today I want to see two things in the follow up: One, Yash defending Aarti with all sincerity and love and possessiveness and not merely out of duty...and second, the message coming across should be clear that a divorced woman has every right to remarry and be accepted as the sole wife of the man she chooses to be with.

Wonderful take as usual Angel. Can sense your frustration today. I guess we all have our hopes pinned on Yash today. And the reason for that is that we know how morally right his character has always been shown. So I would be highly shocked if he does not come good in this situation.
