Well i have done a lot of research on this (as i myself m planning on adoption in few yrs from now n im single) and yes as per indian laws..a single parent (be it man or woman) can adopt a baby of opp sex. Prevsyl , u were allowed only to adopt from same sex..but now rules have changed and u can adopt a baby from opp sex as well. Also as a single parent, u need to show a gaurdian (apart from urself) for ur baby and i usuppose in KJO case, since his mom is with him...that also is not an issue.

Adoption is not as difficult an option as indian society considers it to be,. I m Glad Kjo is doing this...rather than live a double facade like many ppl do. He has never admitted to being gay but I suppose every1 deserves privacy in such matters, At least, he isnt going screwing some female life by supoposedly marrying her and then acting as if he is strght , jst for the heck of society!

Also, adopting a baby girl is even more nicer thought. I m glad Kjo is leading by example ! 😊😊

KJo could have easily married someone and led a double life like so many in Bollywood, industrialists ,etc...

With his power, clout and money he very well could have been the eligible bachelor in town with no dearth of women vying to tie the knot with him and being part of a double life with him...

He chose not to succumb to parental pressure and the societal norms and very early on made it clear to his parents and they did accept his choices eventually...

Adoption is a noble thought and i am glad he is walking this path now...
