Western vs. Indian education

Hey guys, I've been in a big English international school and I'm going to permanently move back to India. I'm going to study in an Indian English medium school there but I have doubts.

Here, they have a very smooth transition and they make things quite easy that you dont even know they're teaching you algebra.

But my cousins told me that there they make things hard for us and they leave us halfway in suspense.

Which is better and more effective in your opinion - American/British education or Indian education?

Ask me! I have covered the huge gap of South Asian education to the British education... 😛

IMO, i believe the british/American education is far better than South Asian standards 😊 .. why? becoz British/American education system has:

1. Basic/New concepts are explained throughly..full understanding!

2. Examination system is excellent! they don't require u to write wht u remembered as a parrot... they say: use ur retention and understanding!

3. U can easily navigate between professions/subjects. if u wish to have a different subject combination.. the choice is urs

4. World wide acceptance..e.g. in ACCA they accept Olevel+ A level students.. whereas B.A / B.Com from South Asian education.(and that be with specific conditions) 😕

I know im going too much ga-ga over brit/american education system... but it is something happened personally to me.. i studied Matriculation (10th grade).. and then entered A-levels. I had one subject in common- Maths... I can't tell u the huge difference i felt in overcoming the WHOOOLE thing... i used to be one of the 100% scorer in that subject all my life.. and understood it quite well.. but the prob in South Asin education system is that they skim things too much e.g. :this is like this.. and this is the method.. DO IT! ( 😕 )...and they stuff u with higher level without completing the basic skills understanding

brit system : This happens Becoz ______ .. and it is APPLIED here and here..

U see... they make u more practical than just a book worm! R u getting my point? 😊

Now comes one more aspect.. the profession u chooose... if u are taking some business/arts related subject.. then ONLY brit/american system can give u the proper understanding.. if u are going for the medical/science side... u can do well with south Asian systems.. now it totally depends that which system u are more comfortable at.. 😊 The choice is urs at the end!
