And of all the wonders in the world, we had to witness this one! Choti Hitler being dragged away and locked away in a room!! By sauteli mamiji, of all people! The nerve of that woman...locking Indu away!! Of course, "meri ma" was being played in the background during this tearful separation. It made me realise how bland real life is. The problem with real life is that you don't have background music.
Anyway, Savita locks Indu away in a room from which she cannot escape. Because she has nothing with which to saw away the bars in the window of this room. Even the gulel was elsewhere. Point to note, Indu. Never allow these lapses to occur. You never know when you might need one or the other.
Then there is a scene in which this version of Indira is bound to a pole before the guys from the hospital come to take her away. The point of this scene was to show that zindagi jung hai. The fools who are ferrying Indira to the mental hospital first leave her all alone in an ambulance that is thrown wide open. Why ALL of them, including the lady nurse had to go to push a car to the side will remain a mystery.
Rishi, instead of accompanying his new wife to wherever she has gone, chooses to relax against a rickshaw. Indira spots him from the ambulance, breaks free, and finally manages to reach Rishi and hug him. Just when he is about to see her face, the losers from the hospital put a hood around her head and drag her back -- almost as if they are kidnapping her.
Throughout the Rishi-Zara interaction, it came across as though Rishi now does not believe she is Indira. He believes that she looks like her. Today's interaction made me believe that the scene outside the masjid had not happened at all. Tomorrow, after he sees the contents of the potli (which contains stuff that they had put on Indira when they burnt her, but is as intact as Indira is), his atma and rooh will start saying other things to him. He does feel guilty about not involving Indu as he had originally intended, but now the deed is done.
I am not expecting this "triangle" to be handled sensitively at all. The writers are just not capable of it. The scenes with the mental Indira today were anything but sensitively handled.
