That framed photo of RK and Madhu, presented by Radha to Madhu in ep 18th Dec. 2012 (Tuesday), belonged firmly in the realm of blooperdom as to provenance.😛 (Never saw a photographer at the 'jagraataa'.😕)
In quality, occasion and timing, it was lacking. As to symbolism and meaning, however, that the photo was rich with.😳
The couple - in the direction each faced and their gazes - held almost a mirror of their relationship in its attitude complexity.😊
RK sees Madhu and nothing else, and has no care in letting her know she is his focus.😳
Madhu does not look at him.😕 She worships him😳, but she will knowingly and unknowingly through her conduct and decisions give him cause many times in life to doubt whether she loves or values him.
Considering their characters, it would have been better if the poses had been the other way round.
Madhu can maintain their relationship and her feelings even in doubt of his reciprocation at any point.😊 Love and devotion to the point of absolute samarpan combined with resolve is a formidable force.😳
But RK needs her focus to be on him, and she will never make that sufficiently clear to ensure smooth sailing for their relationship.
He *is* what matters to her above all else when push comes to shove😳, but she will always allow herself to get distracted by causes and other worries to that point, to the detriment of his feeling himself deprioritized.😕
RK is someone who doesn't tell the how and why of being hurt while the hurt can be stopped and dealt with, and Madhu is someone who - even knowing this facet of her husband - doesn't try to find out if something is wrong until the explosion has already happened and she's standing in the rubble needing to rebuild.
If she sees he is upset, she wants it to be about nothing much, and that's exactly how she treats it instead of sneakily prying where it's *actually* needed.😕
And then she gets convinced by other people to do things that she is persuaded are 'to his benefit' or 'have nothing much to do with him'.😕😡
And it turns out that every such thing she's persuaded to do carefully slices open yet another wound of his and gently salts it.
I found it so cheering when Madhu finally stopped being respectful and pushed around, and instead grabbed Dipali by the arm and unapologetically threatened her.😃
Will we ever have such a happy day when Madhu tears off Radha's self-delusion veil of "I've always been a good mother, my second husband is a wonderful stepfather, and it's my son Rishabh who is bad (though he does provide my family with every luxury, it's his duty as my and Kukkuji's son)."?😡🤢
How many times by now has Radha referred to Kukku as RK's father while speaking about the two of them?😡
If only Madhu would keep her focus on her husband, reciprocating his focus on her, she would not be misguided into gullible blunders by the many dear relatives in her sasuraal and maayka.
If a situation is *truly* end-of-the-world, Padmini or Shamsher will let her know if they truly can't deal with it.😊
But until that point, Madhu needs to stop rushing around trying to make everything right for everyone - because with the exception of Padmini and Shamsher, not one other person of the carnival of Bhatia and Mallick families has ever truly felt any gratitude or appreciation for the extent she gets hurt for and by them.
