The ep 17th Dec. 2012 (Monday) was - astoundingly for an ep with so heavily Rishbala a tone albeit with very few scenes of RK and Madhu actually together - excellent as DVD's screenpresence ensured😳, and yet not quite at the sterling point I've come to take for granted.😕
Thank God this was only the effect with just each on the other's mind rather than in the other's presence.😳
The magic in every scene that Madhu and RK featured in together was as exceptional as always. And their scenes by themselves were great as well.😳 And yet, it felt like something was lacking - like a wait and prep for the next ep.😕
It was a relief to see that Dipali didn't realize that the couple were at odds.😊
In the scene of Madhu and Radha, the latter confounded with the depth of shameless selfishness she provided as contrast to Madhu's sweetly tender selflessness.
She hears that her son is starting to find happiness and love again, and all she can think of is herself? He will call her mother again? Not even two minutes to be happy for him if his happiness didn't involve her?
What sort of a mother is this who can't even be glad for a couple of minutes just for her son's sake without wanting her own happiness? Has she never thought of anything without reflecting on it in relation to what would be comfortable for her?
Could she not have at least thought that Madhu has managed in a few months to undo so much of the damage that Radha permitted for 17 years through commission and omission?
The doting maa and saasuma reflected on the happiness in her son's and daughter-in-law's life as a *steppingstone* to her own relationship with her son being re-established without any atonement from her herself.
Three things which helped to salvage the ep from near-mediocrity (by Rishbala's exceedingly high standards😛) - despite RK's and Madhu's excellent emotive performances⭐️ - were
(1) the fact that Dipali has no idea that she did succeed in ruining RK's and Madhu's night.
(2) RK's beginning of reaction to Trishna's inadvertent hope-inducing explanation of the turmoil that might be on Madhu's mind.😊
And now to hope that he never finds out that Radha was the first reason that came to Madhu's mind as cause to deny him.
(3) The lovely precap in which Madhu agrees to go with RK into obscurity, and he reciprocates this gesture of commitment and love by intending to wed her with all rituals.😳
I was damn sure RK wasn't bluffing to test Madhu when he first asked her to come away with him.
RK tends not to think of practicalities except when they serve him.
Contracts, everything else - he would find a way to deal with those situations or not.
But if he asked to go with him, she agreed, and he decides not to go, it will always be a Damoclean sword hanging over their relationship that what if *she* was bluffing.
What if she didn't actually intend to leave wealth and fortune for him? What if she - like everyone else - values him for what he can give her?😕
So something or the other is going to have to happen to keep the two of them to renouncing everything.
This is a man who is self-made.
He did not have someone helping him in a bid at stardom, and yet he succeeded.😊
He will succeed almost certainly at whatever purpose he sets himself, but the obsessive edge that bitterness gives him may be dulled for stretches of happy moments in his and Madhu's life.😕😳
Strange that happiness disarms him, and the four 'relatives'🤢 at his home would shamelessly assert authority over him if he ever sets his harshness aside.
But for Madhu to become a star, she needs to not go into the wilds.😊 For her to become a star soon, she needs her husband to not jettison his own influence.😃
So something will happen to prevent the duo's renunciation for love😊 - if that precap turns out to be for real and not yet another dream-scene introduced via precap.😕😆 Worried on that count because RK is wearing the maroon jacket which was what Madhu last saw him in.
But the best part of the precap was that *this* time, Madhu did what her heart told her.😳 No flashbacks of Radha, Trishna et al.😃
She should act first and foremost in favour of their relationship, and trust in fate to ensure that things will work out, however meandering a path they might seemingly take away from that result.😕😳
Let the Lord arrange whatever circumstances are needed for the couple's relationship, careers, wellbeing and - last but transcendentally greatest of all - love.
