It was a dream, a wish and a heart's desire mixed together with the heat and lack of water is what brought on Gopi's hallucination.
She was guilt ridden when she left home. She despised herself for ruining Ahem's documents, sending him away from their anniversary celebrations. She bore the blame her maji laid on her for sending Ahem away on the business trip. Yet it was in her dream when Ahem called out for help that gave her strength to help herself.
Her purpose is to find Ahem and return him to home.
Upon being chased and attacked she realised the danger she has put herself and her Ahemji in. She was granted one life line, a telephone to call home for help in the form of Jigar.
She is nearing the end of her tether bringing on this hallucination.
Never had she to bear so much. Is this part of her fate and her karma to endure this? Why her? Why not others?
Her companions in her journey have been her child, her kanaji, a baby camel and a couple of local women. These have brought out the true nature of Gopi. They have made her journey a better one so far.
Still how much longer will she need to bear? Good has to win over evil, but when and in what form?
