Its interesting how he has a totally different answer to that Aamir question...I'm not sure if I agree with him or even understand what he means properly, but I found it interesting.

Actually this man certainly has a gift for perhaps saying a bunch of BS and making it sound intelligent, if nothing else. 😆

I agree he as become greedy and when he thinks things not in his control he gets insecure.

Well, he doesn't write or create his own film concepts so for him it's not a problem.All he has to do is act so his creativity doesn't come into it. The director tells him what to do and when to raise his arms.

^It's an interview he did at the Marrakech Film Festival with Anupama Chopra..He discusses the love his fans have for him...and she asks him what makes him so much more popular overseas than any other actor in Bollywood..of course he's like I don't know & if I do know, it's arrogant to say why 😆

Then the Aamir question...she talks about how last week Aamir told her his biggest fear was losing his creative instinct & how the audience connects to his films, and if SRK also has that fear? He said no because creative instinct has nothing to do with how the audience reacts to it. Creativity is personal and a bunch of stuff like that...so he doesn't fear losing the instinct in connection with the audience. The he talked about how he wants to till forever even if no one watches...and how sometimes he knows his films won't work while doing them but still does them..he was kinda contradicting his points here and it got slightly confusing. 😆

When he DOES make a film it's something like Ra.One which had less to do with a disconnect with the audience than with a disconnect from the story. He was way too invested in VFX to the detriment of story quality and coherence.

So I'd say he never had a creative connection with the audience. His connection was purely emotional and losing the ability to emotiionally connect with the audience is the thing that can bring him down.

And I think that's what he's trying to say also but it was all a bit confusing 😆...he's not scared of losing that creative connect with the audience because he doesn't believe there's a correlation between that creative instinct and the audience reaction to it...and it shows in his films ...

And yes I agree..SRK always had an emotional connect and not a "creative one"...and the day he loses that, it'll be all over for him...it's already starting. 😕

Jess, listen to what he says carefully. He doesn't say creativity isn't important, but he says it's personal...the audience's reaction to a work of art doesn't decide how creative someone is...and he never said connecting to the audience isn't important...but rather, he isn't scared of losing the connect though he was contradicting himself a bit there..😆

also, i think hes being honest when saying the love by the audience helps him survive.. I mean approval is a big thing but he loses me when he says creativity to him does not matter ?😲 Or whether he connects with the audience or not 😲
