Sonakshi Sinha: 'I have no plans for a woman-centr

Sonakshi Sinha has revealed that she has no plans to star in a "woman-centric" feature.

The 25-year-old actress has so far appeared on-screen with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan.

She told The Times of India: "I'm not really looking forward to a completely woman-centric author-backed role. It's a fairly recent trend and whoever is doing it has been in the industry for at least eight to ten years.

"I'm new in the industry and I would like to continue doing fun films with big banners with the biggest stars."

Sinha recently denied that she only plays "desi" roles for fear of alienating her audience.

In August, she described herself as "lucky" for being able to work with Kumar at the start of her acting career.
