I dont agree that a person has to be in BW for 10 years to do a woman centric role.

I loved movie Dor by Ayesha Takia. Such a fab story which was executed so well by both Ayesha and Gul Panag. They both had strong roles. Ayesha did this movie after 2 years in Bollywood.

If you get good roles then why not do it. But if you want to just stick to doing Masala movies in which you have a role not more than 20 minutes and then say that I am doing good movies then its her choice.

Like someone said- has anyone even offered her any meaningful role?

She is doing beyond crappy films. Even deepika, sonam inspite of their acting nontalent do roles where they have decent screen time and dialogues. It must be a good life though, no hassels of learning dialogues or actually trying to emote. Dress up and go stand in the corner of the frame. Her overworked day must be one where she maaros thumkas on some b grade song.

How does songs have class now?? Ad besides most her her songs have charted No.1!!!! Rani Raja, Bichdann, Po Po, Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, Chori Kiya Re Jiya, Pandey jee Seeti, Dhadhang Dhang, Chammak Challo Chel Chabeli and recent craze Dagabaaz Re!!!

Finally!!! her films next year should prove all you guys wrong!!!

I agree with some of the comments, I don't see any harm in her doing a woman-centric film it'll perhaps show her ability as an actress.

I get her statement as actress you are written off now if you don't get hits! But she is not a outsider she can take risks! But why does she just say I'm afraid getting flops lol. So thats why I'm doing these masala movies, with big stars where your role is just to look pretty and dance!
