kay guys...

u know in old movies like the 70s 80s n 90s...where romance was defined by things like

guy stalking the girl and "teasing" her
guy threatens to die if the girl dosent say yes
guy grabs the girls hand/ pins her to the wall (this is more soap opera ish...😆)
guy not taking no for an answer...
guy smoulder staring at the girl...
.bascially u have the stereotype of this really pushy loverboy guy who dosent know the difference between a girl playing "hard to get" and a girl telling him "im not interested eff off"

u know the gist..
do u think all this qualifies as romance or more like sexual harrasment/ eve teasing...
did u ever get repulsed by moments in films which were supposed to be romantic but looked just WRONG..?

share ur thoughts...

PS: get out of this thread if u want to discuss abt JTHJ, SOS, their box office figures, salman and srk's starpower, katrina etc etc...

I still believe lot of old movies were still better on the Vulgar part than the current movies.

You could have the amazing feeling of innocent love in lots of old movies, Nowadays in movies they just show love as kiss and nothing else 🥱

i disagree...

coz all the chumma chati and "vulgarities" tht happen in films today are clearly shown to be happening on both their consent...and tht promotes a much healthier idea of a relationship...

thts different to a guy forcing himself on a girl...

Those kind of scenes always bug me.. along with the dialogues that go like, "Ek ladki ke naa mein bhi haan hoti hai." Like wth, that is downright stupid. If a girl says no, it's no. -_-

Also the whole "jaan dedunga" scenes when the lover (whether male of female) gets rejected, and then there's a sudden realization by the other person that they love the person, and runs to them because they don't want them to die. Like please, that is emotional blackmail/mental harassment. Why would you want to be with a person who does that. :S

These along with the others you mentioned always creeped me out. The eve teasing bits reminds me of how soap operas even today show victims falling in love with their teasers (*cough* Pratigya *cough* Ruk Jana Nahi *cough*).
