Damon Deserves Better!

Last night after seeing the latest episode of Vampire Diaries, I wasn't happy. I am a HUGE Delena Fan. I have been wanting to see them together since the first season, but now when Stelena have broken up because Elena's feelings have "apparently" changed..🤔 I am not happy for Damon. He has loved Elena the way she is. I get that. He admitted that he likes Elena both ways.. and he still feels the same way about her. And Stefan doesn't, he only likes the Human Elena! But Elena? 😕 How come she suddenly likes Damon more? How come she suddenly trusts him more? Wasn't it always going to be Stefan? Why now? Is it because Damon fed her his blood? Is it? Or is it because she has changed as a Vampire? 🤔 It was so sudden. It wasn't like Stefan doesn't love her anymore..?! He still does everything for her! But now because SHE has changed, SHE has different feelings for Damon, she can go around switching Salvatore Brothers? Does Damon deserve that? 😲 How is she any different than Katherine ( Who I totally love 😳 ) ?

I wanted Elena to truely realise that Damon was her love all the way , and that she never felt so passionate about Stefan! I wanted her to feel her love for Damon, not choose him because now she has changed as a Vampire and her feelings are all heightened and she feels more drawn to Damon! NO NO NO. I don't know whether I am right, or is it my own confusion. 😕 But I always wanted Elena to choose Damon, not go to him because Stefan broke up with her or that Stefan thinks she loves Damon now!

And what when Stefan finds the cure for Vampirism? Will her feelings change again and will she go back to loving Stefan? After becoming a Vampire, Feelings can heighten NOT CHANGE! 😡 That's not the way it was supposed to happen! And if her feelings have changed because she drank from Damon then I am disappointed.! 😲 Just because the CVs want Delena together they can't just come up with a stupid reason for then to be together. I wanted Elena t realise slowly, that what Damon means to her?! Why he can get to her in ways Stefan can't!

Damon loves her so much, and after becoming a human again, (Which she will later on, definately! ) if she goes back to stefan, then what? 😲

These are just my views, and for I percieved the episode. 😕 If Anyone has percieved it in another way please share your Point Of View. I really want to know 😊

All I can say is, Damon deserves better ! 😳

( I do not mean to offen any Elena/ Stefan/ Stelena Fans. This is just my opinion. Please do not compare the couples. This topic is only related to Delena, and how exactly does Elena feel about Damon. )

@ Blue : I get that ! But why now? Why so suddenly? Like in 2 episodes? How can she know that she has feelings for him? I don't get that! Like I said in my post. Being a Vampire Heightens feelings doesn't bring out hidden feelings or doesn't change the way you feel about a person!? Right? I dont get THAT! Why only after damon saves her life does she realise that Oh yes! I have feelings for Damon more than stefan! Or After becoming a Vampire I am connecting better with Damon?

YES. Elena does truly love Damon.

She had been hiding from it and running from it. She hasn't explicitly stated that she is in love with him, but it's so very obvious. All her actions SPELL out that she truly loves Damon. She had been in denial for so long, but yesterday, she finally came to accept it.

All the looks she gave him in 3x06...what were they? Couldn't you see the love? Many DE fans complained that SE went back to S1/S2 mode as if the entire S3 didn't happen. But what they didn't realize is that the incidents of S3 had a major impact on SE in season 4. Even though they were dating, he wasn't the one she ran to for help, she didn't trust him, he no longer got through to her. On the other hand, we also see the relationship DE established in S3. The trust, the unbreakable bond it's all still there. Nothing has really changed between them that way. He's still the first person she calls when she needs something, he's her rock, her support.

SE's habit of pushing everything under the rock blew up on their face. Tbh, the writers haven't become illogical to make DE work, like some SE fans say. They have just shown the natural effect of how Stefan's shit in S3 has effectively ruined SE for good.

Elena does love Damon, she always has. He has gotten under her skin and she couldn't get him out. THAT is love. After turning into a vampire her feelings for him magnified, not her feelings for Stefan. When one turns, their most natural instincts are amplified, hence telling us that loving Damon was more natural for Elena.

I don't think Damon will make her chase him for stupid reasons. He will do that because of the blood bond cosmic angst think. He will believe that her feelings for him are due to some bond, but Elena will prove over the course of the season that she loves him for real. SHE WILL CHOOSE HIM IN 4x23.

And yes, she also admitted that she had feelings for him before she changed. So.

I need to start watching more carefully..! 🤣 Skipping few SE parts may not be a very good idea 😛
