Now from the starting only Khushi was dying to go to a beach, but Arnav had reserved it for the last, because he knew that seeing the sunset in the beach , is something too special, and specially for a person who has never visited any sea area.

Part 13

It was around 4 pm when they reached the Juhu Beach , yes the most famous beach of Mumbai. Khushi seeing the beach got too excited and literally jumped out of the car. Arnav smiled seeing Khushi this excited. He also got out of the car and was talking with the driver , when Khushi came running towards him and said

"Arnavji aap kar kya rahe hai chaliye na'" [Arnavji what are you doing lets go']

"Just 1 minute Khushi"

"Nahi ! na abh chaliye na'" [No.. lets go now only]

"Khushi just hold on 1 minute , let me give him the instructions."

Khushi who was dying to go to the beach, being adamant said "Nahi !! " holding his hand and started pulling him. Sometimes , Khushi was such a child . Arnav smiled and said "Ok ! chalo !!!".

While they were walking down towards the beach, Khushi forgot that she was still holding his hand, while Arnav's full attention was towards her and how she was holding his hand and blabbering. He was though looking at her but suddenly he saw something. He instantly stopped walking with a jerk and pulled Khushi towards him and turned her holding her shoulder and make her face him. Khushi was too confused and shocked to react to what was happening, but amongst all this also she didn't leave his hand. Arnav was looking at her but from his side view was looking at some other people. After 5 minutes or so, he said "Chalo Khushi.. lets go.." and started walking again. Khushi was like is he mad, now few minutes earlier he pulled me and stopped me from going further and now all of a sudden he is telling to start walking, what a weird person he is. She though was confused, but didn't asked anything and kept it for later on, coz for now there were better things to do, than standing and asking questions.

They reached the beach and Khushi was so excited seeing all that sand , and the sea that she started jumping and clapping her hands in delight, just like small kids do. Arnav for once looked at his surrounding a bit embarrassed but then seeing her this happy made him smile too. This was what made his Khushi unique. He was happy not only because he saw her happy also because he knew, he was able to fulfill her wish , one of her dream.

"Arnav mujhe na samundar dekhna hai'." [Arnav I want to see seaand visit a beach.]

"Haan toh dekhna na.. kisne mana kiya hai'" [Ya so, visit once who have denied you.]

"Kyu ????? tu nahi le jayega dikhana ke liye ???" [Why ??? Will you not take me with you to the beaches?]

"Mai ? Mai kyu le jaunga' tu aapne husband ya boy friend ko bolna.. mai toh tera dost hu bas'" [Me ?? Why I will take you' you ask your husband or boy firend to take you, I am just your friend]

"Tu mere liye itna bhi nahi kar sakta'. Tu toh mera best friend hai na phir.." [U cant do this much for me... you are my best friend na???]

"Haan par tere filmo mein toh yehi dikhate hai na ki heroine, hero ke saath jaate hai'." [Ya, but in your movies they show na, heroine always goes with the heroes.]

"Haan woh baat bhi toh hai.. par aagar mera pati mujhe nahi le gaya toh???" [Ya that is also there, but if my husband doesn't take me then ??]

"Tab toh mai hoon na'. mai leaunga.." [Then I am there na, I will take you.]

"Haan par mujhe sabse pehle tere saath hi jana tha'"[Ya but I wanted to go first time with you only.]

"Ok ! thik hai.. pehli bar samundar dikhane tujhe mai hi le kar jaunga.. promise'" [Ok fine I will only take you to the beaches for the first time' promise]

"Tu mera sabse aacha friend hai'" [You are my bestest friend]and telling this she hugged him, while he hugging her back said

"Thik hai aab makhkhan lagane ki jarurat nahi hai'" [Ok now you don't have to do any more buttering.]

Khushi excitedly turned to him and all of a sudden hugged him saying "Sukriya' Thank you mujhe yaha lane ke liye'." Arnav this time didn't hugged her back and while smiling said "Khushi its Ok !!!" and that's when she realized that she was hugging him, and so moved back and said "Aapko pata hai hume bachpan se '.." [You know from my childhood'.] and completing her sentence , he said "Bachpan se hi beach par aane ka aur samoondar dekhne ka sauk tha'" [you wished to come to a beach and see sea.] Khushi hearing this looked at him , while he mentally cursed himself for blurting out and she asked "Aapko kaise pata??? Yeh baat toh'" [How do you know ???] "Tumhaari excitement dekhkar maine guess kiya'" [I guessed seeing your excitement.]

Khushi smiled and said "Oh!!! Hum bhi na'" Arnav smiled a bit and they walked to a comparatively silent and not so crowded part of the beach, and sat there. Khushi was busy looking at the sea, and the peoples who were present there with their families , some with their partners, some with kids, but with whom was she there. Arnavji was not her husband, nor her boy friend, nor her friend, he was just her BOSS. Another question came to her mind, why was he accompanying her to all these places , why was he taking her out for this tour, why ? he was just her boss , nothing more, even when Lavanya didn't cared about her feelings then why was he. So many questions, but no answers. she was engrossed in her own thoughts, her dilemma, when she heard him saying "Khushi udhar dekho'" she turned her face towards the side he was pointing , and what she saw took away her breathe. She has never seen anything this beautiful. The sun was just about to set, it was near the sealine . She had never witnessed anything like this in her 25 years of life. The way the red Sun just within few minutes dropped in to the sea, it was truly magical. The sky after that became a colour of reddish as if someone has applied or painted that portion of the sky with vermilion. Khushi was busy looking at the sun and the sky, while Arnav was busy adoring her, capturing her each and every expression in his mind, coz he knew after returning to Delhi tomorrow, they will not get anymore time to spend like this. It was a special day for him , because his Khushi was with him throughout the day, and its his duty to make it a special day for her too.

After the sunset, they were still sitting there lost in eachothers thought, not talking, when arna told "Khushi would u like to have a walk?" Khushi a bit stunned looked at him and nodded. He smiled and got up, and started untying his boots. Khushi was a bit surprised with it, she was like right now Arnavji told that we will go for a walk then why is he opening his shoes. Arnav met her curious gaz and said "Hum beach par chalne waale hai and that also near the sea, so tum bhi aapne sandals utar kar yaha rakh do." [We are gonna walk on the beach and that also near the sea so, you too open your sandals and keep it here.] She was thrilled to know that she will walk near the water and will get to feel it. Arnav opened his shoes and was folding the bottom of his jeans ,so that it doesn't get wet, when Khushi saw a mark on his leg near his foot. Khushi saw the mark and she couldn't remember properly, but she knew this mark. She without wasting anytime asked him instantly "Arnavji aapke pair mein yeh chot kis cheez ki ???" [Arnavji this mark on your leg is of what ?] Arnav hearing her question looked down on his leg and saw that mark.

"Khushi I am sorry na' meri tabiyat kal bahut kharap thi.. isliye mai nahi aa paya"[Khushi see I am really sorry, I was not well yesterday, so I didn't came]

"Arnav main tere liye pura sham intezaar karti rahi par tu aaya hi nahi'" [Arnav I was waiting for you the whole evening , but u didn't came]

"Dekh aab mai kya karu Maa aane nahi de rahi thi'" [See now what should I do, mom was not aloowing me to come.]

"Jo bhi ho mujhe tujhse baat nahi karni hai' chala jay aha se'." [Whatever it is I don't want to talk with you, go away.]

"Khushi dekh maine sorry kaha na' aab jyada bhaw mat kha.." [Khushi I am sorry'. ]

"Maine kaha na chala jay aha se' mujhe tere se koi baat nahi karni.." [I told you na go away from here, I don't wanna talk with you'] and with that she pushed him hardly, so that he goes away, but she didn't knew what happened.

He got the hard unexpected push from her and stumbled back and fell on a big glass piece. The glass pierced his skin and half went inside it. It hurted him a lot, both her behavior , as well as the piece. He somehow tolerating the pain got up and started limping towards his home. His leg was bleeding badly and his speed was decreased too, he without giving a second glance to her started walking back to his house.

Khushi was sitting there on the swing, expecting him to come and calm her down, but seeing him not come back, she turned around and found him limping back home with a bleeding leg. She didn't knew how it has happened, and without wasting a bit time, she rushed to him and tried stoping.

"Arnav ruk' tujhe yeh chot kaise lagi.. batana.." [Arnav stop, tell now how do u get hurt.]

But Arnav , he was angry with her this time and didnt wanted to talk with her, so he continued walking without paying any attention to her. Khushi understood that the wound was something related to her only, might be because of her push, so she again started asking and trying to stop him "Bata na kaise laga' sun na.. aare tu ruk na.." [Tell how you got hurt, wait, listen' , stop']

But he was Arnav, and so he didn't stop and carry on moving, but she too was Khushi , and she didn't know to stop and when it was something serious and that also related to somebody close to her. She continued her work of stopping him, while he got irritated and slightly pushed her away telling "aab mujhe tujhse koi baat nahi karni hai.." [Now I don't want to talk with you]

Khushi being Khushi , the person who stumbles while walking on a straight, smooth road also couldn't maintain her balance, and fell down hurting her left hand, ring finger. Arnav as soon as heard her "aaauuuchhh!!!" he turned around and rushed to her.

He helped her get up and made her sit on the nearby sitting place. He looked at her with an unbelievable expression and said "Khushi tub hi na' sach mein.. itne se mein gir jaati hai' tujhe toh vitamin tablets khane chahiye'" [Khushi, u are really, you fell down with that slight push, you should eat vitamin tablets.]

Khushi looked at him with a complaining face and said "Mujhe chot lagi hai' aur tu mera mazak udha raha hai'" [I got hurt and you are making fun of me']

Arnav somehow suppressing his laugh said "Ok I am sorry' chal haath dikha'" [Now show me your hand..]

"Mujhe pata hai mujhe kyu chot laga.." [I know, why I got hurt']

Arnav while examining her hand asked seriously "Kyu???"

"Kynki maine tujhe dhakka diya than a' aur meri wajah se tujhe chot laggayi.. isliye devi mayiya.. ne mujhe saza diya.." [Coz I pushed you, and you got hurt, so devi mayiya gave me punishment']

"Ohhh' par dhakka toh maine mara' toh saza devi mayiya ne kaise diya.." [Ya but, I pushed you then how come its devi mayiya, who gae you punishment.]

"Hann dhakka tune mara tha' par mai janti hoon.. tu mujhe kabhi gira hi.. nahi sakta.. aur na mujhe kabhi chot pahucha sakta hai' isliye.. yeh saza.. tune nahi devi mayiya ne diya'" [Ya I know, but you cant let me fall, and you can never hurt me, so it was devi mayiya who gave the punishment.]

"Aacha' thik hai.. aab yeh bata dard toh nahi ho raha hai'." [Ok' now tell me is it paining?]

"Mujhse jyada dard toh tujhe ho raha hoga' tujhe itni gehri chot jo aayi hai'" [You wound must be paining more than mine.]

"Ya dard toh ho raha tha.. par aacha khasa mai bhool gaya tha' aba tune phir se yaad dila diya na'" [Ha it was paining, but I forgot the pain, but now u again reminded me about it, so now its paining too much.]

Khushi holding her ears cutely "Sorry !!! mujhe pata nahi tha'"

Arnav smiled "Its ok !!! aab chal doctor ke pass chalet hai."

And both supporting eachother went to the doctor, and got their respective treatment.

Arnav looked back at Khushi's face and said "Woh bachpan mein gir gaya tha' toh chot lag gayi thi' daag reh gaya hai.." [While playing in childhood, I got hurt, and the mark is still there.] Khushi smiled and said "Bachpan ke kuch daag humesha reh jaate hai' " [Some childhood marks, are always there..]

"Matlab ???"

"Matlab..yeh dekhiye' hume bhi bachpan mein chot lagi thi.. aur humara bhi yeh daag abhi tak nahi gaya'" [Means, see this, I also got hurt in my childhood, and I also have this mark ] and telling this she showed him the Mark, which she got that day on her ring finger. Arnav looked at the mark and smiled thinking, hum dono ke daag aab bhi hai'.

They started walking down the beach towards the sea. Dusk has already fallen, and it was turning dark, all the lights in the posts near the beach were on, and they were walking side by side near the sea. It was again a magical feeling for Khushi, walking along the beach, with the cold sea water wave coming and touching her feets. But she always dreamed that she will walk with her Arnav like this, and tha also with her arm linked with his and, his arm holding her waist, and she leaning on him. But though she was walking with a person named ARNAV, but she couldn't do the things she wished to do. Lost in her thoughts she was about to fall down, when a pair of strong hands hold her from her waist and saved her from falling. She looked at him and saw him looking at her. She got lost in those magical chocolate brown eyes. He looked more handsome, in that dim light. She looked at him and wondered, he had the perfect face, a face everygirl will die for, he was the PERFECT. The girl who will get him in her life, will perhaps be the luckiest girl in the world. She particularly didn't knew how long they stood like this, with his hands snaked around her waist and her hands around his neck. He bending a bit towards her and bringing his face a bit close to her said "Sambhal ke Khushi ' warna tum gir jaogi'"She smiled hearing this, as she was ready to fall thousands times more, if she could be saved like this. But destroying the full romantic moment rang his cell, and he pulled her back to the normal position and took out his cell from his pocket. She without looking at him further, started walking front , enjoying the waves hitting her legs, and feeling his presence.

Arnav too enjoyed the moment with Khushi but his damm phone, it had to ring that time only. He saw it was his Di calling. He picked up the phone, but his eyes were on Khushi who was moving forward, with a smile on her lips and with a little blush on her cheeks.

"Hello !!!"

"Hello Chote !!!"

"Haan di '."

"Chote tumhare saare kaam hogaye ??? tum kal wapas aarahe ho na'" [Chote all your works are finished ??? You are coming back tomorrow , isn't it?]

"Ya di !!!"

He suddenly saw Khushi bending down and looking at something , and then looking at him and shouting"Arnavji jaldi yaha aayiye na' yeh dekhiye yaha kya hai'" [Arnavji come here fast' see what is this].

He hearing Khushi nodded his head and then heard his Di speaking in the phone

"Chote yeh kiski aawaz thi ???" [Chote whos voice was that?]

"Di..woh .. Khu.. Khushi ki'"

"Kya ??? Khushiji tumhare saath ??? Chote tum' yeh sab'" [What ??? Khushiji ' with you ??? What are you doing' ]

"Di listen to me'"

"Chote' hume kuch samajh nahi aaraha hai' Khushi ji tumhaare saath hai waha'" [Chote I am not getting anything, Khushi ji is with you there.]

"Ya'"

Anjali was too happy to hear this and asked

"Aur kaun hai ???" [Who else is there]

Arnav without understanding what is going on in his Di's mind, he simply said "Mai aur Khushi aur kaun???" [Only I and Khushi ' nobody else..]

"Ooohh'." Anjali said in her teasing voice.

"What ???"

"Kuch nahi !!!" [Nothing']

"Di aap jaisa soch rahi ho waisa kuch nahi hai'." [Di whatever you are thinking, there s nothing like that']

"Haan' Haan.. humne kuch kaha thodi na'" [Ya.. YA .. I didn't said anything..]

"Di' its too much.. mai phone rakh raha hu'"

"Aacha chote suno toh.. jara phone Khushiji ko do na'" [Ok Listen Chote give the phone to Khushi ji na..]

"Kyu ???"

"Chote tum bahut sawal karte ho' bas unhe phone do'" [Chote u ask too many questions' just give the phone to her]

"Ok hold on !!!" and telling this he walked to Khushi and said "Khushi di ka phone hai tumse baat karna chahti hai'" [Khushi di want to talk with you]

"Mujhse baat karna chahti hai.." [Want to talk with me???]

"Ya' go on'" and telling this he gave her the phone.

"Hello !!! Namaste Anjali ji.."

"Namaste Khushi ji ' kaisi hai aap ???"

"Mai bilkul thik hu' aap kaisi hai?" [I am fine what about u]

"Hum bhi bilkul thik hai' waise aapko maza aaraha hai ???" [I am also fine' and u are having fun]

"Haan bahut'."

"Aur aap ko Mumbai kaisa laga ???"

"Bahut aacha!!!"

"Aur humare chote'"

"Woh bhi bahut aache'." And she understood what she had told, while Anjali on that smiled her bright smile, as she heard what she wanted to hear.

"Nahi !! Anjali ji humara woh matlab nahi tha'" [No Anjaliji I didn mean it]

"Toh aap kehna chahti hai ki aapko chote pasand nahi hai???" [So u want to tell that u don't like chote???] she said in a sad emotional tone.

"Nahi ! Nahi ! aisi baat nahi hai'" [No No its not like that'.]

Arnav was looking at Khushi confused, as he was not getting what the two ladies are talking about.

"Toh kaisi baat hai Khushi ji '."

"Hum.. woh'"

"Aacha koi baat nahi.. bas aapse yeh kehna tha ki' hume bahar waalon se pata chalne se pehle aaphi bata dijiyega' ok bye'" [Ok I jst wanted to tell that, I should know from you guys than from outside people.]

"Kya ? Nahi Anjali ji.. Anjali ji ? Anjali ji ?" she put down the phone from her ear and looked at Arnav who was standing there looking totally confused.

Khushi handed over the phone to him and he asked

"Kya hua???"

Khushi nodded a no and said "Kuch nahi !!!"

They went back to the place from where they had started and wore their shoes and sandals, and started moving towards the road.

"Arnavji ek baat kahe???"

"Ya!!!"

"Woh darasal hume kuch shopping karni thi'. Ghar mein sabko dena hai na'" [Actually I wanted to do a bit shopping, have to give to the family.]

"Ok sure'. Lets go" and telling this they took a cab and went to the biggest and the best mall of Mumbai '. HIGH STREET PHOENIX.They reached outside the mall and Khushi was stunned to see a shopping mall like this. Honestly there were not many malls in Lucknow, and in Delhi she used to do her shopping from Chandni Chowk, so considering that she had never visited a mall , and this one was one of the best and biggest of Mumbai. The lights , the shops everything attracted Khushi. They got inside the mall, and Khushi bought very few things, as it was really very costly. Arnav didn't do a lot, he just followed her from one shop to the other, helping her.

After their shopping Arnav took another cab and they drove towards a resturant. They reached their destination and Arnav and Khushi got out of the cab. Khushi looked at the restaurant they were standing infront , it was named INDIGO . Khushi was looking at the beautiful restaurant, while Arnav payed the cab driver , and called the hotel, they were staying in and asked them to send their car here, after an hour or so. The place where this restaurant was situated was named Colaba. As soon as they reached the door, a guard opened it and then came the suited manager. Khushi looked at the manager with confusion as she saw him smiling, but then she understood that he was smiling looking at Arnavji. "Welcome Mr. Raizada, iss bar bahut dino baad aaye aap.." [This time you came after so many days.] Arnav smiled and said "Ya' actually iss bar Mumbai bahut din baad aaya'" [I came Mumbai after a long time.]Khushi was a bit confused that how can the manager know Arnavji, but then it hit her, ofcourse Arnavji is such a big business tycoon, more or less everybody knows him. "Sir come this way, your favourite table is ready upstairs." Arnav smiled a bit and said "Khushi chale'" Khushi nodded and then they followed the manager to the terrace part of the restaurant.

The restaurant was so welly decorated and so peaceful. The manager took them to a table welly decorated with candles. Khushi have always seen this type of setting in movies, and had always dreamed of, but this time all of her dreams were coming true. Arnav pulled a chair for her, and she sat down, while Arnav went to the opposite side and sat down too. The Menu was served and he offered Khushi to give the order. There were so many types of dishes, most of them she haven't heard also, and then there were some Italian and French dishes, whose name she wasn't even able to pronounce. So going with the safe side, she ordered some Indian sea food, while Arnav ordered some French dish.

Khushi was busy looking here and there, she could see another pair sitting on another side of the terrace, chitchatting and enjoying their food. Some soft music was being played, and overall the atmosphere was very romantic and peaceful. Arnav said "Pata hai Mumbai mein yeh mera favourite restaurant hai.. mai jab bhi Mumbai aata hu toh ek bar yaha par khaane toh jaroor aata hu' yaha ka khana bhi bahut tasty hai.." [U know its my fav restaurant in Mumbai, whenever I come in Mumbai, I come here for once atleast , and there food is also very tasty.] Khushi smiled and said "Sach mein yeh restaurant bahut sundar hai.. humne aise restaurants toh TV mein hi dekhe hai.." [Really the restaurant is very nice, I have seen these types of restaurants only in tv]

Meanwhile their food arrived. Khushi was served Indian whatever food she ordered, while Arnav was served his French choice dish, along with some wine. As soon as the waiter left Khushi said "Yeh inn log ne sharab kyu di hai' aur who bhi paani ki jagah'" [Why have they served wine, in place of water] Arnav smiled and said "Khushi bare restaurants mein aisa hi hota hai'" [In big restaurants its always like this only.] "Par hum toh sharab nahi peete hai.." [But I don't drink wine.] "Haan toh koi baat nahi mat piyo" [Ok then don't drink simple.]

They were enjoying their food, while Khushi asked "Arnavji yeh kaunsa dhoon baja rahe hai' hum kab se samajh ne ki koshis kar rahe hai.. ki kaun sa gaana hai, kaunse film ka hai.. par samajh hi nahi aaraha hai'" [Arnavji what tune are they playing, I mean I am trying to understand for so long that which song it is, from which film it is, but I am unable.] Arnav smiled and said "Khushi yeh koi movie ka gaana nahi hai.. yeh Jazz hai' " [Khushi its not any movie song' but it is Jazz] "Kya Jazz ???" and Arnav while eating nodded.

After few minutes of silence Khushi again asked "Aap se ek baat puchu ?"

"Haan pucho '." [Ya ask']

"Woh sham ko beach mein aap chalet chalet uss samay ruk kyu gaye the' aur woh hume'." [In the evening while going towards the beach why did you stop all of a sudden?]

"Actually Khushi maine waha press wale dekhe the'. Aur main nahi chahta tha ki who tumhe dekhe.. isliye I stopped and pulled and turned you around" [I saw Press people]

"Aap humare saath bahar dikhna nahi chahte'" [You don't want to be seen with me.] she said becoming a bit sad and dropping her face.

Arnav instantly "Nahi ! Khushi its not like that' actually aaagar woh log tumhe mere saath dekh lete.. toh tumhe hi problem hoti' coz then woh sab tumhe follow karne lagte'" [No ! Its not like that, actually if they would have seen you with me, then they would have start following you]

Khushi smied and said "Hume toh kuch aur hi laga'" [I thought something else.]

Arnav smiled and started concentrating on his food, while Khushi looked at the other pair. She saw that they were kissing and her spoon dropped from her hand. Arnav noticed that she had dropped her spoon and raising his head asked "Khushi kya hua?? U ok ???" and saw her with that typical Khushi type look, with her mouth opened in a perfect 'O' and eyes big big round. Arnav looked at her for a second and then turned his head to look, what she was looking at, and saw the other couple kissing.

He turned his head back towards her and said "Khushi what happened ??? Tum unhe ghur kyu rahi ho ?" [Why are u staring at them?] Khushi looked at Arnav still with the same expression and said "Hawww Kitne besharam insaan hai'."

"Kyu ??? Kya hua ???"

"Aapne dekha nahi woh dono kya kar rahe the???" [Have you not seen what they were doing]

"Ya '. I guess they were kissing' so what ??"

"So What ?? Arnavji yaha'."

"Haan toh ???" he asked raising his eyebrow.

"Arnavji koi kaise sabke samne aise kar sakta hai.." [How can anybody do like this infront of everybody.]

"Sabke samne ??? Kaun hai yaha???" he asked looking here and there.

"Aap aur hum toh hai na'" [We both are here na.]
