Agree to whatever you have said. My take on the purpose of the episode was different so I did not have an underwhelming feeling.

For me the purpose was more of getting Choti Maa and Dadisa to finally understand the Jagya was the past for Anandi. I don't think the intention was to really ignore Shiv's feelings, though in the end it felt like that.

Once these CM, DS and J are out of the way I guess both Shiv and Anandi can introspect and discover each other. I hope they show the introspection.

I cant speak about ds but in terms of choti maa, she needed some proof that the girl her son was marrying would not spoil his life by remembering another man all the time. I think anandi never made a genuine effort to address that fear. Ya, she said the right words but immediately followed it with a contrary action.

In fact i loved cm's reaction to anandis speech. She was so freaking happy. She obviously has no problems with anandi as a person or as a divorcee. What she had a problem with was that anandi always had the dull, morose face around shiv. So she wondered if anandi even really wanted to marry? In fact it was this sullen face anandi had in the engagement video that finally convinced shiv that anandi did not really want to marry him.

Why dont they address anandi's behaviour issues is beyond me. She is not blameless

You're right that the purpose of the epi was deffo to make CM and DS realize more than anything else even if the entire rebuking was technically directed at Shiv...first the drama needs to be gotten out of the way, then Shiv will manage to get to Anandi I guess😆

After re-watching the episodes, I feel, it is not only A's so called lack of clear expression of love that drove S to do this drama, but also, S's incomplete understanding of A's family dynamics.

For Shiv, DS and J are uni dimensional. DS is a loving grandma, who is strong, traditional, affectionate determined and above all she is A's biggest wellwisher. J is a misguided soul lacking direction, a good doctor, DS's loving grandson, somebody who knows A very well, who regrets his wrong decision to leave A.

Shiv doesnot know anything about DS and J's other faces. How selfish they can be, how can they scheme things, how unfair they were towards A. Shiv needs to know about how DS locked up littile A, didn't allow her to study, crushed her childhood, how DS got J go through a second child marriage and how all the three children went through the trauma,how insulting DS was to A's parents. Shiv should also know more about J's cheating, how he kept A in darkness for 5 years, how he abused her and the way J and G landed in haveli, and DS allowed them to stay as husband-wife infront of A, and all those stories.

If S had little more background information on DS or J, he would not have called off marriage. But how will S know? Anandi, should share more things about her life with Shiv. Understand that she is concentrating on fufture, but she is a product of her past, and in that sense, she needs to open up with Shiv regarding the major incidents in her life. A and S needs to spend more time talking together.

If Shiv is going to run after her now to manaao her, I think the focus will only be on Shiv profusely apologizing for not understanding her...unless Anandi says something clearly about her own feelings there instead of the already repeated many times respect/best friends stuff.

I would feel a bit better if she sunaaoes atleast SOMETHING to Jagya while throwing his stuff into the river...

At AreYaar, I agree with your perspective. Last episode was all about Shiv Pacifying A and feeling guilty for his only mistake. However, it does not reflect that A too has realised her flaws in the relationship.

A will forgive Shiv and the two will come toegether, but will A realise that she too made some flaws?

There are other people in here who disagree with my point too but most do acknowledge that Anandi too has contributed to the misunderstanding. Fully agree with you. I may go one step ahead by stating that she is responsible for this mess. She has not been clear cut in her opinion and she let things hang in mid- air for far too long. It was Shiv's generosity that he accepted that the fault entirely his. But, I do not agree with this explanation of Shiv. For me it is basically one sided affair.

Your analyzing is very good. first time when i watched even i felt that something is missing but when u watch 2/3 times then u will get the deep of the dialogue and get hold of it. As you well said that we expected too much, so little bit disappointment we got it.

Anandhi's character it self is like that she will not show her feeling or express in words. Since she is in love with shiv she is able to forgive him.

I've seen your post for the very first time and I am literally amazed with that... Me and Malika was talking the same after the episode at AT...
Shiv was wrong no doubt but he was in pain too... After his confession why Anandi blamed him??? She should have to think why he is doing this??? Still he kept her dadisa's image good in front of his family... He bare all pain by himself... He wanted to sacrifice for her family's sake... Wasn't Anandi who sacrifice all the time for the family???
teemardari of jagya, maafi of jagya, even agreeing for marriage with Shiv it is for family so Shiv was doing the same na... why he is so wrong than???
