Sorry, CricFan. I misunderstood you. I believe running a music school is much more lucrative option than singing in movies as a playback singer. Both Padma Ma'am and Prashant Sir of Fame Gurukul have kinda added a dash of glamor to this otherwise dull option of a music teacher. Thanks.

Where in my post did I say that it's menial work? It wasn't even implied. You're just assuming it. It was a simple statement that said that this line of work was another possibility for them. Infact, I didn't degrade any of the possibilities. I completely believe in the dignity of work. It's another matter that it pays significantly less than singing for movies.

Hi All. Vishal kothari, aditi Paul, rahul saxena, amey, meenal, monali, antara mitra- none of them are the winners. They were the finalists of II.

Winners aren't made of stuff that could be easily forgotten. The kind of frenzy Qazi had created was extraordinary. One cannot simply dismiss him.

As far as Kunal Gunjawala is concerned I remember pretty well that he could not get past the first round of SRGM. You can't say when one of the above mentioned singers could make his or her mark. As Anita says destiny is also one of the deciding factors.

manju sweety,i did'nt want to offend u.We r not talking about qazi or anyone in particular, this is just a general discussion on how difficult the things are for these youngsters and how difficult it is for them to survive in the cut throst industry.

Of course we have to give them time to establish themselves and I am not writing anyone off but sometimes talent alone does'nt workI am hoping that everyone will get lots of work and recognition but you know the theory of Darwin, survival of the fittest, and the fittest in the Bollywood is not necessarily the most talented because there are lots of other factors that come into play besides talent.

Hi Anita. You tell me Winners aur Finalists mein kuchh to fark hota hai. Of these names none of them is a winner. I brought Qazi into picture coz CricFan said one ( reality programme winner) needs to be extraordinary or needs strong financial backing to succeed. In this context I said that Frenzy that Qazi created was extraordinary. Twas simply amazing. One cannot dismiss it. Whenever he won he garnered more than 70 percent of the total votes. It was something exceptional, phenomenal. Tis just an example.

God forbid if he is unsuccessful then I would call it destiny.

Would you agree with me now? Thanks.
