To day's episode saw Dadisa being broken beyond repair

Dadisa as we knew her doesn't exist any more.

The Dadisa who has been moulded by the circumstances into woman with harsh demeanor with a very strong sense of what is right and what is wrong is no more.

A barely literate woman widowed at a very young age with two kids to look after with no means to fend for herself after being deprived of her husband's legacy and wealth,started from scratch to reach where she is now a matriarch for not just her family but the entire village by being pragmatic sticking to her morals never softening her stand in the face of adversity a woman who never let her emotions dictate her or deter her from doing what she thought was right is no more.

A woman who strong enough and confident enough to change herself and see the world differently when a small girl who came to stay with her convinced her to do so.Now this lady is no more.

She never broke when she was widowed at a very young age.Sexual harassment by her brother in law didn't break her.Being thrown out of her dead husband's house accused of thievery never broke her.All the years she spent trying to bring up her two sons while facing the struggles did not break her.

A strong woman who found it in her to forgive the man who attempted to molest her deprived her of her husband's ancestral property- how could a woman like that break?

A woman who brought up the son of the man who tried to molest her and loved him more than her own son can break so easily?

The thing that broke her up -she couldn't see her grandson's is asking for a toy which she has given away to someone else.Today She was broken beyond repair when she was trying to retrieve the toy for her grandson.She is so broken and not recognisable anymore.

How can DS break at such a simple thing as seeing her grandson crying for a toy?

How can a lady who didn't let go of her control in all her life will let go of her control by seeing her grandson's ridiculous behaviour?

How can the CVs show a strong woman with a strong backbone bend so low?This is nothing short of assassination of Dadisa's character and is not going with flow of the story or taking it forward.This is just a pathetic attempt at creating a OTT drama.

By doing this they not only killed DS's character they made all the things done by Anandi over the past four years amount to nothing.

In other words CVs do not believe in the social message that they have been giving for the past 4 years,

They made their lead character look like a flop.

It is not moh for her grandson that broke her up it is the moh of the CVs for drama that broke up Dadisa that we knew and not necessarily liked her but definitely admired her.For Dadisa as shown by Cvs so far would not have been broken by the sight of her no good grandson crying.This is a bad move by the CVs.

Appy...Cvs didnt change ds...or didnt show anything out of her character...she is like that from beginning...

In anandi's bullet shot track, ds was ultra sweet to anandi, even took care of her, let her eat with all,when anandi was blabbering in sleep abt her dark room lock punishment by DS(bangle asha track!!), ds was very guilty…many more but just a thought abt her pota's future, she took a drastic step JG child marriage then toh she called anandi pagal too and excuse "ananandi meri zimevari,I will take care,nothing will happen but my pota has to get a nice 2^nd beendni". Hah being a lady its not a rocket science to get how a girl will feel seeing a 2^nd gal in her hubby's life. Yeah anandi was a kid but after grown up…kya hota??...ds hamesa reheti anandi ka khayal rakhne ko!!..😡

Same with sugna's remarriage, she was against it n it was her poti, she went against all odd. She was very bitter towards young phooli at that time but due to the temp gulit she was very sweet towards her but once the phase was over, she went back to her bitter mode for grown up phooli. Once blast at her for coming in front of J as he was going to give entrance exam, its not good omen as a widow,(though got a solid reply from J as he was angry towards DS that time🤣)

Same is this time too! This time her sweetness went long coz the setback given by jag was BIG. once she got her pota now real self came out!! Nothing shocking for me!!🥱

i thought DS changed but she is not..i was respecting her when she told jag in hospital why they can't forgive him..but then this drastic change is just unacceptable ..but khushi you are also right..after anandi's bullet incident she put havan in village and begged forgiveess to devima for all her misbehaviour..but then she got jag married with gauri..so DS's character is d same

Lovely post but while thinking over it cvs did show her inclination for jagya anandi from beginning when soon after jagya maafi in hospital she thought and wished that she could turn back the wheels of time and jagya had returned earlier. As kushi put it dadisa was always shown swaying between rationality of what is right and wrong versus her emotions. They just showed the breakdown of her rationality and sense of justice in her strong hope of making jagya life better and retaining anandi back forever. She pushed anandi for remarriage to get herself out if guilt and also as a penance for her grandson misdeeds I think which they showed through dadisa internal dialouges. Now that jagya is back and she believes him to be reformed she wants her family back at any cost. But I do agree here cvs over butchered the character. My mom always say that we all have 2 personalities. One is the innate and inborn personality conditioned by the societal and feudal traditions and other is the second personality which comes from education and awareness and rationality and many times first can overpower the second

@Appy - I expected this...yet I was very saddened by this. The hints were all there though from the moment J returned that she was sooner or later going to do this. I thought she would do it later not so soon.

MOH for J has always been DS' ka MAJOR WEAKNESS throughout the series, so I can't say the CVs butchered the character...they kept her consistent. She is guilty everytime she hurts one of her beendhnis be it Anandi ya Gehna, but she justifies that she is doing so for her "family"... and she always gets emotionally overwhelmed by J. As soon as she was convinced J's remorse was real... she flipped!

As for the message - it was delivered by A & BS today. In terms of character "reform"...DS knows what she is doing is WRONG (her internal dialogue showed that...that's the evolution in her character) but, she did it for MOH of J regardless.

So, A's education taught her "right" from "wrong" but, her own weak character failed her.

In the past she committed those blunders in her she was truly blind because of various reasons like illeteracy blind faith in traditions and customs and ignorance.

She did those things because she thought she was doing the right thing which wasn't necessarily a right thing but she had strong belief in what she was doing was right.She didn't do it knowing and feeling that it is a wrong thing

But this time in her dialogue with herself she could n't find justification for what she wanted to do and yet she went about doing that saying what she is doing is wrong and God will definitely ask her a lot of questions.So far they have always shown her to be doing things because she was convinced that she was doing the right thing according to her perception.

This is the first time she was doing something that was wrong in her perception and the justification given by the CVs is not enough.

She was too strong a woman to give in to her grandson's unreasonable wish even if she thought he was a changed person.She knew her grandson's wish is ridiculous she would have found a way to convince him.

Even if she wanted to fulfill her grandson's wish I can't see her going to A and just ask her to J back is something I cannot see her doing it this way.Even if she is motivated by her moh for grandson I can not see her behaving this way.She would have found a better way to approach this issue.

So either ways her behaviour is not fitting in with her character.

I agree with Khushi here...

She got Shiv in A's life...as she was feeling guilty for what her potha has done to A.

Now., when she is convinced in her mind., that her potha has sudrofied...that guilt has gone and she is back to her MOH...

But when she gets to know., the real face of her potha., in trying to hurt Shiv...it will not be guilt but REAL ANGER and DISAPPOINTMENT...the way BS is feeling now towards his son's past deeds...

Then., she will actually realise her folly.

I often wonder IF Dadisaa will EVER have a breaking point in this show...I had almost started to be convinced that this entire Shiv-Anandi track was her redemption after her ENDLESS paltis before...which she's literally done at EVERY stage in this show...but no, why would the writers let go of this gold mine they have in the form of DS to create drama? It works EVERY time...it's the reason that this show has been running for 4 years...when all else fails, make DS flip...and flip and flip and flip...guaranteed drama!

Granted that Jagya has always been her weakness...this is an essential running theme since the beginning of the show...it's always been like this...DS spoils Jagya, overlooks his "bachpana" as she terms it no matter how VILE and pathetic his actions...and Bhairon sees through his son crystal clear...he could see through him back in his childhood also and even more ever since the recent kartootein of Jagya.

But to justify DS ka moh THIS time...that was stretching it...the same DS who was busy condemning Jagya for destroying Anandi over and over again has suddenly forgotten all of Anandi's pain...the same pain she herself had to console Anandi through...

DS is such a fascinating character with all her flaws and Surekha ji plays her so brilliantly that no matter what you appreciate the acting...and I did in today's epi as well...this is a twist put in to generate high drama, I can see that...but by BV standards they did put in a justification with DS's inner monologue.

Is it human in a sense to blind yourself to all the horrors that have happened in front of you when you see one ray of hope? To DS this is her saving her pyara laadesar since he's seen the error of his ways...what's sad though is that ultimately blood is thicker than water...Jagya asked for Anandi like she's a toy and DS is ready to give that to him since he proved himself "redeemed"? Is it really that simple?

I agree with the point Khushi made...it probably was just GUILT all along...the weight of the guilt that Jagya left her with regarding Anandi so she was trying to give Anandi a good life to redeem herself of that.

What's sad though is that a vicious cycle has begun all over again...DS will probably be up to all kinds of trickery now to not let the AnSh wedding happen, to help Jagya in any ways she can...she's a wily woman we very well know...for both good and bad...and ofcourse ultimately the day will come when once again she will see that the monster she created very well lives...has not "redeemed" himself in any way...but even THEN any regret will be shortlived until Jagya's NEXT "remorse" attack I guess *rolls eyes*...they can make BV run like this for CENTURIES that way.
