so its okay to air half an hour long suhaag raats at prime time when the entire family is expected to watch tv, but god forbid airing a movie which is A with moderated cuts after 10 pm...😆

since when do the channels care abt viewer discretion anyway?...i switched tv on at 6:00 am the other day...normally ud expect either news, or yoga lessons or some dharmic content on tv early in the morning right? WRONG...they were airing an infomercial for some kinda chavanprash which helps with "husband and wife issues"... 6 bloody am!!! seriously???

I feel its a good decision. People like Ekta Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt put adult content in their films and use it to sell their films. But when it comes to satellite airing of the films they try and pass it off as a family film. IMO if a film is A rated it should be telecast as a A rated movie at the slot allocated to it rather than the slot for general viewing.
Also I feel the below is a good decision. Better wait for the film to prove its mettle at the BO rather than provide free lunch to BW and help them convert their black money to white.

On September 21, 2012, Mirror had reported how the recent spate of big productions failing to meet box office expectations (Don 2, Agent Vinod, Mausam) had forced broadcasters to change their mind. At the time, a majority of them had already decided to buy a film's satellite screening rights only after the audience had decided its fate on a Friday. As such, filmmakers were already under the stress of having to prove their mettle at the box office before demanding their share of the pie from satellite channel owners when this fresh trouble has now hit them. At the time of going to press", Mirror had also by Text-Enhance">confirmed that even Colors had taken a similar decision
