KAT, will she get respect after YASH JI'S death?!!

😭 I know this is a sad day on IF and the world. But, since JTHJ is Yash ji's last film, will KAT finally get the respect and acclaim for her acting? I want the woman to finally get recognized for her performance. It is only the right thing. Did Yash ji have something in store to surprise the audience? The trailors don't look like Kat has done anything different. But, perhaps she will surprise us. WILL KAT get respect for her acting after YASH JI's demise? Please share your thoughts.

What a intelligent thread...how many grey cells very necessary to start one?

I for one need a lot to even get close to explanation why people would even start a thread like this..

Oh wait..I know why...use Yash ji's death to hate on Katrina...!!

next logical explanation...is may deal with retardness, IQ...joblessness etc..but then I do not want to get personal...

If she performs well she will get respect.If the audience loves her in the film...It will be huge..

If audience loves her..the number of people who see the film(whether it makes 100 crore or 200 crores)..she will benefit in multiples.

If she disappoints then unfortunately for her too many people who have seen her will be disappointed.

So far only Sonakshi in Dabangg has benefited from 100 crores..Most have lost the goodwill or maintained status quo.

I have been writing this for the last 2 years...Irrespective of how many 100 crores the film will make..An actors individual performance will be the only thing which will benefit him/her.

That was not the intention. I think KAT deserves respect and recognition after a legend has died. It is only the right thing!

Why on earth Kat get respect for Yash ji's work?

This is bollywood bhai.. Here even Abhishek Bachchan doesnt get respect for his pathetic performances / personality, even though he is the only son of THE SUPERSTAR AMITABH BACHCHA.. Toh Kat kaun si khet ki mooli hai 😆

Kat cant act.. And non actors r nt respected at least by me if they suck at their own profession.. Tell Kat to earn respect by learning acting.. Why do u want her to become a parasite to live on others' credit?

I feel like the bollywood industry knows kat can't act (it's pretty obvious) but unfortunately directors cast her because she's popular and men in india love her for her goriness and what not. She makes the film do good even if its crappy (TMK, MBKD) and that's the reason why directors chose her. I feel this is the reason why she was casted in this film because kat's films tend to do well.

I don't think you meant anything negative by opening up this thread. Some people just love to take out their frustration.

As for your topic, respect is earned, not taken. I can't believe we're even debating this because no other film industry in this world would let this happen. For example, how many non-actresses (who can't even speak English) do you see in Hollywood? None. No one would accept it and that actress would receive backlash. Even actresses like Kristen Steward (who isn't even that bad) gets flaked on. Here we are trying to give merit to someone who doesn't deserve it.

I do hope JTJH does really well and her part is minimal. Knowing Yashji's excellence in film, maybe they'll try to explain her accent as she's a british-born girl or something? I will not be watching solely for her (true story) and I know many others who are put off by that.
