Dwelling on the Details: Something Familiar, Something New
{Episode 171}
October 15, 2012: "Tujhe badalna na chahoon ratti bhar bhi sanam...Bina sajaawat, milaawat, na zyaada na hi kam..."
*Coming soon - but here's a bit of a "preview" of a few horribly jumbled thoughts that I'm planning to elaborate on and reorganize eventually...A temporary placeholder for my "reminded-me-of's", so to speak...*
I just rewatched the suhaag raat episode...Specifically from the part after Aarti changes into her night sari and accidentally hits Yash with the bathroom door...Those small, tentative smiles and the beginnings of an unspoken understanding...And now look at where we are!
This episode had Yash consciously watching and subconsciously seeking out Aarti with his eyes, and there was a playfulness in him that brought a smile to both of their faces and brightness to their eyes...
There's a difference between then and now in the way he tells her, "You must be tired..."
And of course there's yet another instance of Aarti absent-mindedly bumping into the wall, just like Yash did a few times before...I was more importantly reminded of the time Aarti played a little game of hide-and-seek behind the pillars earlier (episode 106, to be exact) - that day when she, Aarti Yash Scindia, made a resolution to herself to bring happiness into her husband's life - because of the way Yash let his eyes linger on the place where Aarti disappeared from both before and in Monday's episode...It was almost like he was waiting for her to step back from behind the wall, but she didn't...not until he left...
*To be continued...*
