Yes, Kareena was the saving grace of the movie but its no way her best performance till date... She has had far better roles and performances in her other movies...

Heroine was a failed venture... UTV over hyped and over estimated Heroine... UTV under hyped and under estimated Barfi... The results are there for all to see...

I'd rate this performance of Kareena relative to others like this:

Chameli > Jab We Met > Heroine/Kurbaan

I'd actually put Kurbaan right there with Heroine.
She was so suble and restrained in that film!

i don't understand what prompted her to choose this film...i don't think it will do any wonders for her career...as it was super hyped to be...its so clear she doesn't have sense of choosing great scripts..but there is one thing she actually played in the film..successful star flopster actress

Taran Adarsh gave this film's box office verdict as "plus" status, which is quite the same as above average/semi-hit. But yes, different sources are having different box office verdicts for this film.
