Vidya Balan refuses to act opposite Salman Khan in remake of 'Kick'

It was reported on October 7, 2012, that Bollywood actress Vidya Balan, touted as the fourth Khan of Bollywood has turned down an offer to act opposite superstar Salman Khan.

With movies of substance like "The Dirty Picture" and "Kahaani", Vidya is in a position to choose scripts that revolve around her.

She has reached such a stage where only the script matters but not any of the Khans.

While actresses in Bollywood compete with each other to star opposite the three Khans of Bollywood, Vidya has turned down this offer.

Salman Khan, who is ruling the box-office as his every movie is now crossing 100 crore club is the hottest among the Khans.

But when Vidya was approached to star in the movie "Kick", a remake of a south Indian movie, she turned down the offer.

A source said that Vidya feels her role needs to be strong enough to justify her superstar status and at par with her acting prowess.

While Vidya's spokesperson denied any such film being offered, Salman Khan's camp also confirmed that the news about roping Vidya in a film was nothing but just a rumour.
