Hi there people! 😊
I don't know about you guys, but I don't mind the way the episodes are going. Call me a blind lover of IPKKND and ArHi, or just a happy-go-lucky loyal follower of the show - but I'm going to watch my show till the end... whenever that is. Which reminds me, will you guys please shut it for a moment and be grateful for having such a good show instead of worrying yourselves silly, and getting yourselves in a tizzy with regards to Barun quitting, and the show ending!
Nothing has been confirmed yet. A show's pace, the way it is being handled, and the gradual dip in intensity do not necessarily indicate that a show is on its last legs... not saying that it is not, but it's immature to lose ones head over such matters when there is mere speculation and when there is no definite information/news on the matter.
Not only are you steaming up and combusting your own precious grey cells, but you are transferring all the fuelled rumours amongst others too. Seriously, it's like you have no other work to do! And I'm sure most of you have a fair amount of other better things to do than rant around hormonally charged theories.
You could save up your energy, angst, and tears for the time when Barun quitting and the show ending is actually confirmed. Till then, be at peace, enjoy the moments, and let others too have a stress-free time!
The show will obviously end someday, and Barun will no longer be our hero ASR/Arnav someday- but let's just repel the current senseless frenzy and watch the show with the same love, loyalty and passion like before! I believe you are mature, sensible, and reasonable enough to do that, aren't you?
Okay, now that I've had my say (and yes, you can differ from my view, and not follow what I laid down, I just felt like easing your burning heads from unwonted tension)... anyway, like I was saying, now that I'm done with the above, we shall shift to our beloved Arnav Khushi who have joined hands to take down the evil Shyam!
I have been waiting for this to happen since the kidnapping track. I was disappointed when it turned out that Arnav-Khushi never had a plan for exposing Shyam at that time. Par koi baat nahin, kyunki seems like history is going to repeat itself, though this time, there IS a plan in place, courtesy detective/investigation expert - Khushi!
She has done it before while trying to save Arnav from Shyam, and this time too, her lively brain is active with another plan. A plan that we are yet to watch unfold.
The interesting part is of course about history repeating itself. How? Well, remember last time what made Arnav throw Shyam out of the house? Well, yes, partly it was about believing Khushi, and having NK, and Payal supporting her claims against Shyam.
The main factor however that triggered Arnav against Shyam was that major part of the truth was brought forward by Shyam himself when he refuted every accusation thrown at him, when he defended himself by twisting the truth and facts, and when he forgot the words he had spoken to Arnav himself.
Shyam, through his own lips and tongue, had indirectly confessed his dishonesty, cheating nature, and his deviousness. Every word of his were coloured with the dark shades of his soul. Shyam, by glorifying in himself, had upturned dirt on himself, thereby giving Arnav a clear view of the murky pools within him and causing Arnav to push him out of RM's doors.
Seems like something similar may happen this time too. Khushi's plan, whatever it is, seems to be heading in a direction that may induce Shyam to confess his own crimes to Anjali and the rest of the family. How I hope and wish that this happens! The hammer on the nail will be if Shashiji pipes up about Shyam's very first attempt to murder!! Oh what seething emotions, fury, dhamakaa, and action will ensue then!! (my longing wish/hope since quite some time now).
I am super happy to see them reviving our old brainy ASR! Wishing to see more brain action from him instead of making him doubt Khushi's plan. I miss my sharp and intelligent ASR! It would be cool if ASR too came up with a plan to trap Shyam! Arnav's plan combined with Khushi's plan would be my ideal plan -
An ArHi plan!!! (Sighh... my post today is like a wish list!) 😲
I absolutely loved the way things turned out the way we thought they would (all thanks to the spoiler pics). Arnav followed our theories to quite an extent when he spotted the camera among the bouquet, when Khushi-Arnav pretended like they didn't know they were on camera, and when they narrowed it down to Shyam being the one behind such disgusting acts.
A look, a glance, a nod, a shake of head, a head tilt, a firm line of the mouth, a clench of the jaw, a tight fist, pain-filled eyes, a raging look, a warm supporting touch is all it takes for Arnav-Khushi to convey their silent communication between each other. This was the highlight of the episode for me. To me, the magical bond of Arnav-Khushi is expressed through their silent understanding communication between one another. I loved the exchange of expressions when Khushi sees Anjali's glass-pricked sole. I loved the look of stabbing sadness in Khushi's eyes that turns toward Arnav, and he seeing it is filed with barely containable pain and rage at Shyam hurting his sister. Also savoured the slightly triumphant looks transpiring between them when Arnav conveys to Khushi that Shyam has removed the cameras! Brilliant emoting by Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani. 👍🏼
Khushi apologizing to Arnav: She thought Shyam had changed, and had brought him back into RM on that basis. She had previously apologized to Arnav for hurting him by bringing Shyam back. Today though she apologizes for her action, for her belief that Shyam had turned a new leaf. She accepted her mistake, and that is something not very easy to do. She has brought back the devil indeed, but right now, it is to their advantage to vanquish him.
After Khushi-Maami, Khushi-NK, we now get the newest detective pair of Khushi-Arnav: a long awaited one that should rock since one spunky and one sharp brain are on the prowl. Please CV's, avoid messing up with either ones characters in this track, especially since it's their brains at the forefront! or else... 😡
I'm pretty darned certain that either of the two must have happened: One: Arnav-Khushi were transferred Invisible Girl's invisibility power, or Two: Harry Potter lent them his Invisibility Coat, while Shyam entered his room oblivious of their presence beside/near the cupboard! Dear CV's, we kinda know the nooks and crannies of RM by now... couldn't you have shown them outside the room, near the poolside, where Shyam later hid? 😳
Arnav's head is currently heating up on finding just how much harm his sister is at at the hands of Shyam's. Like Khushi has noted before, Arnav's brain just stops working when he is in such a state. That probably explains why Khushi is the one who has come up with a plan... for now. Arnav needs to cool down, process his knowledge, and combine his resources to finally devise a plan that will see the end of Shyam. I'm not against Khushi or anything, I love the dear girl, but most of her plans are short-term ones, while Arnav's are the more meticulously planned ones. Oh well, let's see how it plays out, and if I'll get my combined Arnav-Khushi, ArHi plan that will defeat Shyamu! If not an ArHi plan, it may just be destiny or Devi Maiyya who will bring Shyam to the hour of his death.
Maami confesses: This was obviously to lay down the base for Khushi's plan for making Shyam's evil deeds to come out in the open. This is what made me feel that Shyam himself may confess his deeds. Besides that, Maami has a whole long list of things to confess, but she did confess the main two ones of intoxicating Buaji by adding a lil something to her drink, and of tearing one of the sari's Khushi had first got to RM, thereby earning her the nick-name 'Phatti-sari' which as NK rightly put it, was apt for Maamiji herself. 😆
Waking up from Sleep: The conversation about Maamiji sleeping, and then her waking up almost seemed to hint at Anjali's finally waking up out of her Sleeping Beauty role-play toward her husband's fake character. Would love if Anjali is the one to sentence Shyam to a long-deserved punishment!
Paint, Diwali: Re-colouring, out with the old, in with the new: I'm still hung up on Garima's past and feel that it still has to be dealt with - the old truth out, the new truth in (a bit lame but that's what's in my head). Also, paint makes me think of new colours, a new freshness to relationships... makes me feel like Daadi's relationship too with RM and GH members may be mended. Diwali - the festival of lights, the dawn of good over evil... right after Dussehra where the evil Ravana was defeated by the good Ram with the help of Hanuman. Wondering if NK will play a role as Hanuman in getting Shyam (Ravana) down. We had established NK as Hanuman before during the kidnapping track. NK is the only one so far who has stuck by ArHi's side, and who has witnessed Shyam's delinquent side.
"Ab Hum jo chahte woh kar sakte hai": Khushi, once again, did it. This reminded me of the time Arnav had hurt his back, had laid down the 24 hours deal for money with Khushi, wherein Khushi at one point mentions "Aap ke chaubees ghante hai, jo karna hai keejiye!" only to be tugged by her arm toward her bare-chested husband who freezed her brains at that moment. I must say, while Arnav frosts his brains away in his hot-headed moments, Khushi freezes her brains in hawt-close-moments with her husband. ☺️ Anyway, loved the way Arnav forever waiting for such moments, plays on her words and deliberately moves toward Khushi causing her to fluster and mumble about not meaning what she said, and to then revert to their plan of action once she realizes that he had stepped near her to retrieve his phone laying behind her on their bed. 😆
Edited to add: This isn't really a point but, when is Payal going to return? Please don't make her disappear like Maamaji! Don't think that will happen since she is the lead's sister, but please get the character back asap in a sensible way!
That's all for today... I'm short on time and sleep, hence the chotu-sa post. Looking forward to the plan that will trap Shyam. There has to be something really huge and significant that will cause Shyam to volunteer recounting his deeds to everyone. What will that be? Also, a slip by Arnav or Khushi may alert Shyam as to what they are up to. Hoping that Shyam does get caught this time, that he is finally seen as the lowly character he is, and that he is meted out his sentence for all the wrongs he has committed.
Barun Sobti, Sanaya Irani: Loved the two of you in the scenes where only your silence, expressions and gestures were required, brilliant communication without words!! 👏 ⭐️
Karan Goddwani: I'm just glad that you're still around! Always look forward to your delightful, hilarious scenes!
NOTE TO CV's
There is some slackness one can notice in the episodes. A professor of mine told us a line that I'll remember forever. The line was: "You are as good as you are on your last day."
You can still retain the magic, keep it simple, keep true to your characters. This is a sincere request.
It's very warm and encouraging when you let me know what you liked about my post, or when you put forward your point of view about a certain topic. Love interacting with you, and I appreciate your faithful feedback! Thank you very much dear readers! 😳
What do I say! It's wonderful to have a place so warm and mad! 😛 😆 It's also wonderful to have all of you here! I enjoy every minute of hanging around Redux, I hook on to every word that each of you talented writers pen down, and I have fun discussing topics with the rest... Hugs to each and every one here!! Love you guys! 😊
TO EVERYONE
It was sad to read Tants decision to shut Redux. I understand it (had been anticipating it since Tants had said that she stops watching a show once the leads are married), but Redux was a cozy home and to find that it will no longer be there just... makes me feel homeless. The ever eternal optimist in me hopes that Tants will write again if the show waltzes back with its former glory.
Fond memories of Redux is what Tants and DB are leaving me with. I was in such awe of Tants, DB, Pam and Anna at first... still am sometimes. It's been great being here, meeting so many friendly people, reading so many wonderful writers!
A big
THANK YOU to Tants and DB for teaching us so much, for bringing out the nuances of the show, for directing us toward points we missed, for developing our thinking, reasoning, and analytical abilities!
A round of warm appreciation for the writers and readers of Redux who kept the momentum going always through the good and rough days of the show! Thank you one and all!
I am not a believer of saying good-byes, and I'm not going to say good-bye now too because I believe that as long as we are in each others hearts, and memories, it is not a true farewell.
"Meet to Part is the Way of Life, but Part to Meet is the Hope of Life"
See you around everyone! 😉
Lovez,
Nia 🤗
