Part 9

After class, Sharon stopped Swayam before he could leave saying, "I need to talk to you."

Swayam replied, "Sorry Sharon' but not now. I need to talk to Rey." Before waiting for a reply, he left. Again, Sharon could do nothing but watch.

She left for the girl's locker room to find sadness all around there as well. Rinni and Simmi were trying to cheer up Vishakha and Neha.

Simmi said, "Come on guys, cheer up. I know you guys were close and all, but life just doesn't stop, you know."

Vishakha asked, "If Sharon left and we say that to you; what would you do then?"Neither of them had a reply to that and they looked up to see Sharon there. They gave her a pleading look and she walked up to them.

"Neha' Vishakha' I know neither of us are that close' but still'? Kriya left and you need to accept that and try to move on. If she knew you guys were sad, is that going to make her happy? No' she would want you all to be happy."

"How can we be happy when she left like this?" Neha asked.

"I understand Neha' now what do I say? I might have not liked Kriya but I do know that she wouldn't want any of this. How about this? Let's have a girls' night out. We'll spend time some time together and bond. What say?"

She looked at both of them with hopes. Neha agreed soon after and Vishakha pretended to be least interested but agreed to it. When the rest of them left, she came back to find Sharon.

"Hey, thanks for cheering up Neha." Sharon was confused and she explained."Yea, you would expect me to be sad too and I am. I'm not that good with emotional talks and I really appreciate you being there for us and Neha'" Sharon passed a smile and Vishakha left. Sharon took out to find Swayam.

While all this happened in the girl's locker room, Swayam found Rey in the fire-escape. The whole day, he had smiled for others but as Swayam had expected, he was grieving when alone. Seeing Swayam walk in, he quickly wiped his tear away.

Swayam started, "You don't have to hide your tears from me!" After sitting down next to Rey, he asked worried. "Are you okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be? There was nothing between Kriya and me after all." he said not being able to hold back the anger.

"Rey I know you're mad and hurt. But don't hate Kriya. My heart won't let me believe that she meant that in the letter and you know her better. You shouldn't be thinking this."

"Then what am I supposed to do? You tell me! She used me and I do feel used. I might not hate her already but in future, I can't say the same! I don't want to believe all this either. Then again, is there a reason for me to not believe? The letter, her not picking up my calls before and after Foot Loose, no replies to my messages' what does all this say to you? What am I supposed to think after all this?!"

"I ' don't know. Wish I could answer that' I just know that I'm not ready to believe all this that is in the letter. One day or another, I believe another side of the story will be out. But, for now, we need to get you cheered up. And so, we're going out. Boy's night out. Get up." Swayam said, being quick on changing his mood and promising himself to get started on the letter mishap ASAP.

"I'm not in the mood to go. You guys go." Rey said refusing to get up.

"I'm not going to listen to all that Rey. Come on, it's an order. Get up." Rey did remembering 'anything for friends'. He wasn't going to let any other girl in his life now. He would live only for his friends now. Swayam took a second out to text Vishakha, 'We need to come up with POA ASAP. I can't see Rey like this."

She read the message and replied back, "Tomorrow before college in rehearsal room." He read the reply as well.

The night went as planned by Sharon and Swayam individually. Rey seemed happy to him and Neha seemed a bit cheered up as well to Sharon. Finding some time alone, Vishakha replied back to Kriya.

"Shut up, will you? I'm not being cheesy at all. There will never ever be another Kriya. There was and will always be only one Kriya for us and that's you. Stop being silly. You know what? Sharon is not really that bad! She cheered up Neha today! And I heard from Swayam that they were going on boy's night out. So my guess is he's trying to cheer up Rey as well. I swear; it was so paining to see him during classes today. It wouldn't be wrong to call him a walked dead.

The good thing is me and Swayam figured something out. The letter' it seems as if someone added something to the letter for Swayam and Rey's letter never reached him. We suspect it to be Shivam but we have no proof. We will soon. Don't worry. Rey will know the truth and it will all work out just fine. And yes' Swayam figured it out that I know you told me everything. But I've kept my promise and have not told him anything. He understands too. Sharon is being dumb to not realize what a diamond she is letting go off by behaving like this to Swayam!

Now that's the story for today. I'm writing all this to you and all you give me is you're trying? Talk to me Kriya! Don't shut yourself out. I'm there for you. I want details from you every day on what you do each day. Understood? Good night and sweet dreams."

Most of you wanted me to continue with regular updates. And I will. But the minute I notice less likes AND comments, I will switch to ONCE a week. So keep in mind 😉

Bad news: I think I pulled a nerve on my hand or slammed it hard somewhere. I can hardly type as I tell you. So sorry but maybe the update will be late IF it doesn't get better by Thursday. Apologies 😳
