Sorry, changed the previous topic about Priyanka and Salman's opinion on her new single, it was already posted! 😊
Karan Johar's obsession with RED 😕
Every filmmaker has his own style, signature and quirk.
While some like to make fleeting appearances in their movies, (Alfred Hitchcock), others are known to provide a wild twist-in-the-climax (M Night Shyamalan) or compile an eclectic, knockout soundtrack (Quentin Tarantino).
Back home, we have Yash Chopra whose penchant for rain, Alps and dressing up his leading lady in a white dreamy fabric is well-documented as is Rakesh Roshan's fascination for K-titles ranging from Khudgarz to Krrish 3.
The latest to join this list of creative creatures of habit is Karan Johar. The man has a thing for red. Every single film he's written or directed boasts of a strategic scene or song with the leading lady adorning a shade of crimson, scarlet or vermilion.
Here's proof:
Student of the Year
For the remixed version of Nazia Hassan's Disco Deewane -- The Disco Song -- Johar picks a vibrant red dress with a sweetheart neckline for his 19-year-old leading lady -- Alia Bhatt in what looks like a prom night sequence.
Apart from Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan's daughter, the love triangle also introduces model Siddharth Malhotra and David Dhawan's youngest son, Varun Dhawan.

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham
Not only did Dharma's boss dolled up his fashion-forward Poo, played by Kareena Kapoor, in an all-red leather bustier, figure-hugging pants and stilettos to underline the red-hot elements of You are my Soniya, all three key lady members of the cast slipped in ruby-red numbers in the promotional campaign for his lavish family drama.

Kal Ho Naa Ho
Not only did the poster layout sported a strong burst of red but also an entire part-comic, part-tragic episode involving Shah Rukh Khan's red roses, Saif Ali Khan's red tie and Preity Zinta's red dress.
'Nice tie.' 'Nice dress.' It doesn't end so nicely though.

Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna
Here are a few red-themed sightings in K Jo's take on infidelity in marriage. Quite early we spot Rani Mukerji, a glittery bride in red sitting alone on the bench before SRK convinces her it's a good idea to go ahead with a commitment.
Like KHNH, this one too features Khan, Zinta and a bouquet of long-stemmed red roses. Only these are meant for the woman he's cheating her with -- Rani Mukerji (Of course, she gets the consolatory single rose. Mukerji, as it turns out, is wearing the same cheerful shade as those flowers to denote a budding new romance in her life.

My Name is Khan
Johar's most serious work so far doesn't have much time for effervescence.
Yet, Kajol finds an excuse to wrap herself in seven yards of gorgeous cherry-red to celebrate her cozy, classy silver screen wedding to co-star Shah Rukh Khan.
