Normally Kalapi this reunion wud have gladdened me as i always wanted Archu to get back with her kids . But the way it was made out to be only Savita's fault ...the way it made out to be none of ARMAN's fault ...the way Manav insulted his mother publicy and the way Damodar encouraged the granddaughters in whom normally he had no interest to betittle their grandma who raised them ...and the way Archu and Sulo were acting all self righteous simply put me off the reunion .I am now more intrested in other tracks ...at least im totally indifferent tothem and simply laugh at them .
taya u made me laugh . True , True ...she should pull Manav's cheeks .😆
Kool, I could have been glad too and not only us all the audience who have been with the serial for these 3 years have been patiently waiting for the story to play out just right, but when it did happen finally, it was a total disappointment. Never have anyone had said Savita wasn't wrong in some of the things that happened in the story, but other were equally at fault. But, the way Savita was made a scapegoat was shamefully. It was shameful that MAnav, as a son uttered most derogatory of words. Somewhere Jai, I think said, why did he had to utter the words that he wasn't her son any more. Very true. I have seen really bad Sasuma's in real life, but I have yet to see a son who insults his own Mother the way Manav did the other day in front of the whole world. Fight happen all the time, couple move out too, when a couple feels they can't live with their parents under the same roof, but still there are unseen boundaries that no relationship crosses. The way Archana, the DIL and have talked the last few days shows just simply arrogance dipping from her mouth. Same was Sulo. No girl's MIL will dare to talk back to a Sasuma...actually if that happens it will just lead a total loss in the relationship that existed between the 2 families. And that also happens the other way round. The families just start to avoid each other.
Damo as a husband is a shame in the name of all husbands, he who lived all his life with Savita and was supported by her throughout life. Grandkids raised by Grandma, who gave them life support at the most crucial of times, just don't start ignoring who have given them all during the most formative of years. Where did the Cv show a meaningful relationship so far, be it Damo/Savita and Arman or between the grandkids/grandparent. The story had been so twisted now that is beyond recognition. At the end, the story became that of a young couple's romance, who because of Sasuma got separated, not that of a middle age couple accepting their mistakes and redeeming themselves, which in turn made them better people in the process. Because at the end, it is true, a partner can love the other so much that he/she is also willing to forgive the gravest of mistakes and the other partner might love him/her back so much so that it doesn't belittle them to say sorry and move on. The Cvs were so short sighted that they have created the worst mess imaginable.
It is for this reason I said that my hope is at the end Cvs will upheld the Indian value system that I feel proud off. I don't know what the Cvs plan for Arjun/Purvi/Ovi triangle, but my hope is that they show that Ovi with her patience, love and understanding does redeem herself and wins Arjun back. Because what she did was a mistake too in some sense and so she needs to face the consequences of her action now. I want Arjun to give her tough time, but she finally wins him back and matures in the process as a person. I have read many Indian and western stories as well as I have seen real life examples where a wife simply by her devotion ends at winning her wayward hubby back...
I also want them to show that Purvi moves on and finds happiness just because it too happens in real life. Not all romance ends up in marriages and those that don't; it doesn't mean that the rishta they had that did not lead to a marriage wasn't Pavitra. The value of any given relationship depends on the importance it has to a person and that could mean many things to many people. And some nameless relationships can be equally Pavitra, in my eyes. See, to me friendship is a very valuable pavitra rishta too...any way, what a long post I wrote...ufff...
