i like sid's character. he deserved a better fate. i wouldn't say he should be with mamta because i think sid would have been better off with someone else who could match his charisma, his energetic desire for life and his humour.

mamta should be with akshay because they are both serious people and they are both humorous in an old-fashioned sort of way.

i'd still say i like sid's character better because of its realism in today's society.
