Maan determinedly turned around and came inside the washroom, Geet too came inside and stood few inches away from her. Maan then looked at her and started opening his belt, without losing the eye contact, with a smirk on his face. Geet gulped her saliva and was constantly chanting her Babaji's name; she too was looking at him showing her strong determination, but there was a fear too in some corner of her heart. Maan threw the belt away. Maan then slowly-slowly opened his shirt buttons hoping Geet would back off. But when he saw her not moving he decided to move forward. He opened his jeans' button, his gaze was stuck on Geet observing her reaction, hoping she would back off. When he didn't saw any movement in Geet, he touched the zip of his jeans pretending to open. Geet gulped hard, her determination was on the verge of breaking but somewhere she knew that he wouldn't do such shameless thing, she too pretended to show her strong determination. When Geet saw a tinge of reluctancy in him, she thought to hit the hammer.

Geet: Kya hua Maan Sir, aap itni der kyu laga rahe hai? I think you forgot that your file is waiting for you.

Maan was shocked to the core. He hadn't expected that much shamelessness at least from her. He was hell irritated now. He agitatedly closed his jeans' button and stalked towards her. He grabbed her wrist and dragged her out of the washroom. He stopped in mid of the study and pulled her wrist towards himself. She was now an inch away from him. She was looking into his eyes, her breathing became uneven due to the close proximity. Maan angrily boring his eyes into hers.

Maan (angrily): What do you want Geet?

Geet: Please forgive me.

Maan looked in her eyes, he saw purity in them. Her eyes were proving her words. How could he deny the request of that vulnerable eyes. There was a depth in her eyes and he found himself drowning in her eyes. He was about to caress those almond eyes but Geet's voice stopped him in between and brought him back to reality.

Geet: Please Maan Sir, it will never happen again, I promise.

Maan saw slight wetness in her eyes, he felt an unknown pain in his heart. He left her wrist instantly and moved back a little. He turned his face a little away from her. He wasn't able to endure the pain of her eyes.

Maan: Hmm'..

Geet: Ji?

Maan: Mene tumhe maaf kar diya. Now leave.

Geet was on cloud nine. She was extremely happy and her eyes were clearly reflecting her emotions.

Geet (chirpily): Aapne mujhe sach me maaf kar diya?

Maan: Hmmm'

Geet (joyfully): Ab aap mujhse gussa nahi hai?

Maan: Hmmm'.

Geet (happily): Ab aap mujhse baat karege?

Maan: Hmmm'.

Geet (chirpily): Ab hum friends hai?

Maan (surprised, turning his face towards her): What???

Geet gulped looking at him. Maan moved towards her with slow and long steps, his eyes boring into hers. With each step of Maan she was moving backward. She was a little scared, she tried to explain.

Geet: Ww..wo kk..kya hai na ab hum dono ke beech ss'sab thik ho gaya hai to mene ss'socha ki ab hum ff..friends hai.

Maan didn't show any reaction, he was constantly moving towards her and she was moving backward. When she was out of the study, he stopped. Geet didn't realize that she was out of the study as she was busy admiring his eyes. Maan was on the entrance of the study near the door, there was a few feet distance between them. Maan moved his face towards her and came close to her ears. Maan's breaths were fanning her earlobes, Geet was totally under the spell of Maan and closed her eyes feeling the moment.

Maan (his lips almost touching her earlobes): Don't you think you are pressing your luck too much?

With that he moved away from her and shut the door on her face. Geet opened her eyes when she heard the closing sound of door. His words now registered in her mind. She frowned and pouted her lips.

Geet (frowning): Dusht Danav!

She marched off from there. After few minutes, he opened the door and saw her retreating figure. A small smile came on his lips.

Maan: Bilkul pagal hai.

Maan then turned to the couch and again absorbed himself in his pending task of reading the file.

Evening came and Dadima was back at home. She went to Geet's room to check her. Geet was clearing her wardrobe.

Dadima: Beta what are you doing?

Geet looked at Dadima and gave a smile. She was happy that Dadima was back as she was feeling bored.

Geet: Dadima I am clearing my wardrobe.

Dadima: So beta how was your day?

Geet: Dadima 5 ghante se mai apna wardrobe hi thik kar rahi hu to pata hi nahi chala din ka.

Dadima was puzzled as it was a work of just 1-2 hours.

Dadima (confused): 5 hours se aap yahi kar rahi hai.

Geet: Ha wo Dadima subah se fifth time jo kar rahi hu.

Dadima (confused): Fifth time?

Geet (innocently): Wo Dadima kuch karne ko tha nahi so socha bar-bar wardrobe hi thik kar lu.

Dadima laughed. She was looking like a cute, innocent and adorable child.

Dadima: Leave it beta. Let's go we are going out.

Geet (excitedly): Dadima where are we going?

Dadima: Chaliye ice-cream khane chalte hai.

Geet became excited and enthusiastic hearing that. They both went to a mall. The mall was very big and there was everything from eatables to dresses. As they were checking out the shops before going to the ice-cream parlour, Geet saw a board, having glittering graphics showing FRIENDSHIP DAY. She got excited so she urged Dadima to check out that shop. They both went inside the shop. Geet's eyes glinted seeing so beautiful antiques. She then realized that the friendship day is next week. The salesgirl came to them and gave them the brochure. After checking for few minutes they both went to the ice-cream parlour and enjoyed their ice-cream.

They both came to mansion, Dadima marched to her room and Geet went to Maan's room. She peeked inside the room and when she found it empty, she entered the room. She came to the bedside table and put the ice-cream cup, upon a note, on the table. While coming back from the ice-cream parlour she brought an extra cup of chocolate ice-cream for Maan. After putting the ice-cream cup there on the table, she came out. Then she saw Maan coming. She hide herself behind the large vase. Maan came inside his room, when she saw he is inside, she came out and peeked inside the room in order to see Maan's reaction on reading that note. Maan saw the note as well as the ice-cream. Maan took out that note and read it. On the note it was written-

Maan Sir I am soory for what I did in the morning. Mere paas koi raasta hi nahi tha. Aap mujhe ignore kar rahe the, meri baat bhi nahi sun rahe the to isliye mene socha ki agar mai aapko follow karugi to at last pareshan hokar aap meri baat sun lege. Aapko pareshan karna mera intention nahi tha, mai to bas aapse maafi maangna chahti thi. Ye ice-cream mai aapke liye layi thi. Agar aap mujhse naaraz nahi hai to please ye ice-cream kha lijiye. I promise mai aaj ke baad aapko kabhi pareshan nahi karugi.

Geet😊

A small smile came on his lips. He took the ice-cream cup and had a spoon of it. He liked it and ate the whole cup. Geet saw that and a contented smile came on her lips. She came to her room and laid on her bed. She then remembered about the friendship day, she instantly jumped off from her bed and took out the brochure from her beg. She again laid on her bed and was checking out that brochure. An idea struck her mind.

Geet (to herself): Mai bhi Maan Sir ko friendship day ka gift dugi or kya pata wo mujhse friendship kar le.

She got excited and started checking out the brochure for a best gift. Then she thought

Geet (to herself): Mai Maan Sir ko aisa gift dugi jo ki hamesha unke dil ke kareeb rahe. Lekin aisa gift kya ho sakta hai'(after few seconds) pen..Pen hamesha unke dil ke paas rahega.

Geet then saw a picture of a beautiful pen. She called in the shop and asked about the pen. They told her that the pen's cost was five thousand. She became sad and cut the call.

Geet (sadly to herself): Five thousand ka pen. Itne paise mai kaha se lao. Agar Dadima se maangugi to wo mujhe jarur de degi lekin ye gift mai unhe apne paiso se dena chahti hu. Ab mai kya karu?
