Roma comes in & sees RishBala together . Meanwhile Malik stirs and awakens from sleep . RK opines what superstar RK could not do "lady bheem" i.e. Roma succeeded in doing ! Roma shouts at RK for being here to which he replied that she better stay calm & leave since only 2 visitors are allowed at 1 time ! not having much option Roma leaves .
RK sings "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham" seeing Madhu & Malik together . Malik notices RK & gets restless , angry and looks at Madhu ! Madhu tries to tell him not to get hyper when RK comes in between n asks why Madhu refers her father as Malik ? it seems more of owner-servant relation or something like a step daughter n dad !
Malik looks at Madhu , he feels something's wrong with her so asks whether she's fine or not ; yet again RK interrupts asking whether Malik is fine or not ! he says after all its his right to know since this hospital bed , meds , drips , tubes , treatment everything is paid by him only !
Malik looks at Madhu probing what RK is talking about ? before Madhu's reply RK answers that there'a price for everything ! I saved your life thereby here are the loan [basically deal/contract] papers as per which in lieu of 40 lakhs expended for Malik's treatment he as guarantee would give RK his daughter Madhubala Shamsher Malik ! he continues that as long Malik won't pay every penny of thos 40 lakhs Madhu shall stay with him ! he thus asks Malik to sign the respective papers !
Here Madhu takes the pen & pleads RK to stop this for sake of humanity ! she tells she'll sign anywhere he wants but to leave this issue as of now ! RK pays no heed but forcefully takes Malik's hand and with the latter's thumb pad takes a stamp on those papers !
Seeing this Madhu gets really upset and tells RK to leave now that he's got what he wanted ! she goes to Malik assuring everything will be fine hearing which RK makes a u-turn from the exit door ! he says for the sanctity of their relationship thye must take Malik's blessings thereby forcing the same on Madhu .
Seeing a baffled Malik RK finally reveals their relation that Madhubala now is his wife ! he futher tells that Malik in fact should be happy with this since he made his illegitimate daughter his legally wedded wife !
Malik looks at Madhu and asks her to tell the truth looking at him ! RK advises Malik not to get hyper since he has to get well soon in order to pay the requisite amount n the fact that till that time Madhu is his & will stay with him only !
Saying so he looks at Madhu & leaves . Malik asks her to say the truth but Madhu unable to say anything bows her head and leaves silently !
Outside hospital
Its raining heavenly . She comes out & sees RK waiting in his car . He shouts Madhu to come but she just leaves '.
She walks on the streets soaked in rain whilst RK in car constantly prodding her to come with him . Seeing she's not listening he holds her hand but she jerks it off ! it continues for some time till Madhu sinply snaps saying she won't come with him , won't listen to him , she has difficulty in breathing the same air he breathes ; even enmity too has certain rules but for RK every morning he makes a new level of lowliness for himself & by evening succeeds in achieving it as well ! but enough is enough ' she hates him !
RK looks at her for sometime then says 'sayonara' . Saying so he turns his car and leaves but not before notifying Madhu that whichever way befitting to her she better be back home safe n sound since he does not want their story unfinished as "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dushman" [the picture is still left to be seen my enemy]
Alone in road Madhu sheds tears , she slumps down on road reminiscing RK's words @ hospital , him forcefully taking Malik's stamp , revelation of their relation's truth to Malik in his present condition !
She cries bitterly her endearing moments with Malik. Finally Madhu lets out a wrenching sob at the turn of events .
