And the terms you have used to describe some dance forms, never even heard of them 😆 So I am glad to have read the perspective of a choreographer, who has put across the thoughts without demeaning or being rude at the contestant. I am sure I and others can learn a thing or two aobut dancing from such posts.

P.S: Looks like we need to nominate you in the most knowledgeable category 😛

Thanks.😳
I am not well aware of many things, i pick it up listening and seeing and reading stuff in my free time. I am not really a choreographer, more a dancer for fun.😆

Ha Ha Ha, and here i was fearing to be branded remo of jdj.😆

@Tannipartner, just wanted to reiterate your sentiments. I too am choreographing a bunch of kids for a show that we are going to do next week and boy what a tough job. You have to know your kids strengths and weaknesses, you have to think about the props, the costume, the song, the steps and so much more. And if things do not work for some reason then you have to go back to the drawing board and start all over again. I have been choreographing this dance for the kids for 3 whole months. I cannot imagine the effort and strength it requires to do this every week for a span of so many months. That is why irrespective of the fact that I may have my own favorite contestants I can never find it within me to demean or bring down other contestants or choreographers. No matter what, each and everyone of them (choreographers and contestants) are working their bottoms off and kudos to them for their effort and their perseverance.

Once again, thank you for this post.

Kudos👏👏

Choreographing kids is so difficult teaching them. I never ever can do it i think. My teacher is teaching these kids here a bw song marzani, and they make so much fun and throw up tantrums, if the weather is hot they won't dance. Makes me think of the tantrums i threw as kid and appreciate the enormous patience of all my teachers who taught me as kid.

I appreciate the efforts by all of them. But if the end result is not good, i will critique them. If execution is not good killing an awesome idea in the process i think we should critique them to let them know. NO one can improve without critique. And in JDJ5, some criticism of the performances or choreographies actually had it coming. Yes it is difficult and we appreciate them for the hard work, nevertheless if something is not right we should critique them.

You created the rules that we can nominate anyone in more than 1 category, so I think branding you as remo is still not off the grid 😆😆
