Mehreen Syed: New Bollywood heroine from Pakistan

Pakistani supermodel Mehreen Syed will join the bevy of ramp beauties to board the Bollywood bandwagon. Her debut Bollywood film is to be made by filmmaker Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan.

Sanjay says, "Mehreen and I have been in touch since the past seven years but have not been able to work together. We were to do 'Lahore' together and she had even signed the film but just before the schedule, she had a bad accident on the ramp in London. Now that I am starting my next film, I spoke to her and she has been roped in."

The filmmaker adds, "In the past few years she has been getting a lot of Bollywood offers but she was clear that she wanted to do a certain kind of cinema. My film is a black comedy and a very different take on the current political scenario in the sub-continent." Work on the film is scheduled to start in October.

Why can't these models stick to ramp only? Why they want to make a joke of themselves in bollywood? They know that they'll represent Pakistan through bollywood yet agrees for the movies. 🤓

Oh that's not cool generalizing every Pakistani girl due to the one bad egg Veena.

Anyways Mehreen is way too tall for most of the actors in Bollywood. She is also extremely skinny and yes I don't like her voice either.

I am not Indian but I would like Indian girls to be given a chance in Bollywood (no matter which family they belong too etc.). Other than that I am all for the whole Pakistan/India connection but only if done properly where neither disgrace their country in the neighbouring country.

Remember, art has no boundaries. If someone is good at acting (or singing or anything else) then I will watch and appreciate them.

they probably take less money therefore they are invited to India to do Bollywood movies , lets see whether she also does any gimmick to hog attention of Bollywood directors/producers/audience or not ... if she succeeds to hog attention it's confirmed that she is going to last in Bollywood for some years..😆
