Chapter 4 NEXT MORNINGArnav was making coffee for himself he couldn't b able to sleep the whole night. Whenever he slept he was awaked with a jerk coz of screams of khushi in his dreams as if she was in pain her screams calling his name made her body jer from head to too he was not seeing this dreams for the 1st time he used to saw this almost everynight 5 years back for more then 2 months but after that it stopped slowly like from everynight to every week then every fortnight then month and then just disappear when he bulet hiself busy enough... He drank the hot coffee in one go n start pacing the room his mind was replaying yesterdays encounter with Khushi n Juhi's comments at her during all their dinner time
"I dun know wht's tht she hiding under tht mask I mean she is young beautiful attractive yet she is single and the sadness and emptiness I saw in her eyes even she had masked them very well but u know its hard to mask ur feelings from a painter who can paint sadness even seeing the eyes I m sure m gonna paint her eyes but she hides it well haan difficult job"
She said while eating spaghetti
"Such girls are master in hiding behind masks n not letting the people to see their real face bloody actress " he said with a tone of loathing in his voice
"Oh come on ASR just coz she denied to come to ur party doesn't mean she is an actress plus u know she said she don't believe in god I woder how can she dun believe in god when in her novels girls always had strong believe in DM and the way she sang that song theres something buried inside her' I can feel it"She cut him off. "Jab say ayay hain us k gun hi gayi ja rahi ho kaan pak gaye us ki tarefain sun sun k"
( since the time we have been here u r kept talking abt her m fed up of listening abt her)"Sorry baby I was just saying I felt her mysterious and when I pointed out tht wht happened to u on 5th august she just cut me off in a very different way so I was curious u know me how m curious abt finding things lolz but promise I will not mansion her name ever again""U better b" snapped ASR and asked the waiter to come with bill. Juhi was very frightened and when he parked his car near her apart. building she hugged him n kissed his lips which he returned with full force and aggressively but Juhi was happy coz after this ASR will b normal she knew she asked him to come inside her apart but he denied n drove off coz he was sure he will harm her today so he just came back to his apart. And after tht it was him and his vine bottle he drank almost two bottles.
Beep beep he came back to future with the beep of his mobile it was a message from Juhi wishing him good morning
He replied "Morning but a little busy" n went inside his bedroom n started to make a drink for himself again as his mind took him 5 years back
FLASH BACKHe was bussy with work in dubai n was missing khushi like hell. He had asked her to accompany him but she denied saying she didn't wanted to disturb him and now it had been almost two months being away from her. He remembered the last two weeks of them being together n their romance. He never missed a chance to end up in bed with her every single night. She also showered her love like crazy. A smile crept on his face remembering those nights. His naughtiness n flirty behavior n her shyness. How innocent she was. His thoughts came to hault when the phone bell ranged. He picked it up n it was her.
"Hello Arnav ji" her beaming voice came
"Hi sweetheart kaisi ho? Kia baat hai bohat kush lg rahi ho?"

"Hmm dekho jab yahan ka kaam smoothly na shuru ho jai I cant. Pr I guess ab zayada time nahi lagay ga I guess maximum one month"( hmm lets till the work here starts smoothly i cant.. but i guess it wont take long may b maximum one more month)He said in a thoughful tone
"Aik mahina" (One month)she sounded disappointed
"pr hamain to apko aik baat batani thi" ( but i needed to tell u something) she became quite but again she speak gaining the lost beam "koi baat nahi ap araam sy kam krain jb ayain gay to bata dain gay waisay bhi abhi bohat time hai" ( no problem.. u carry on ur work without any stress i will tell u once u r back... she said firmly " koi baat nahi hai parishani wali bus koi baat hai jo jb ap ayain gay hum apko batain gy bus lakin khabar dar agar ap kaam khatam kiyay bina ayay isi liyay hum apko kuch nahi batatay kion k phir app hmari baat nahi mantay agar ap nay aisa kia to hum ap say naraz ho jain gay" (No Arnav g for my sake u have to come after finishing ur work...There is no need to worry what i wanted to tell u i will tell u once u r back but dont u dare if u try to come without finishing ur work... see thts the reason i dont tell u everything coz then u dont listen to me.. if u do this this time i wont talk to u) she warned him. He laughed loudly at his cute wife.
"Ok baba main kaam khatam kr k ata hun aur a k tmhain daikh lun ga bach k kaha jao gi" (ok boss i woll come back after the work is finished and then i will see u where will u hide then?) He said in a flirty tone and he was sure tht his wife's cheeks will have turned pink. How he wanted to see her shy face!
"daikh lijiyay ga ab hum rakhtay hain" she managed to say this
(ok now i m going cut the call)"hey listen this is just wrong haan apni baat manwa li hai aur mjhy badlay main kia mila"( Hey listen this is wrong u have made me agree to what u wanted but what did i get in return) he said seriously
"kia chahiyay apko ap bata dain hum bhijwa dain gay Jijaji sy keh kr"( wht do u need i will ask Jijaji to send it)
she asked innocently
he wanted to laugh at her innocence

"hum phone rakhtay hain kion ap bohat baysharam hain aur hmain apsay baat nahi krni" ( now m going to end the call u r very shameless and i wont talk to u) "don't u dare ayi tmhain smajh warna main abhi flight pakar a jaon ga and u know a k tmharay saath kia krun ga" (dont u dare.. did u get that otherwise i m gonna catch the very next flight and come back to u and u know it very well what i will do to u then) he said sounding angry but he was actually smiling. He knew how to play his cards on his wife and he was right. There was silence on the other side for some time
"pr phone pr kaisay ap kiss" she sounded worried
(but how can i kiss u on phone)"tm day sakti ho bataon kaisay"(u can let me tell u how) he kissed on the speaker
"daikha its just simple" (see its just simple)khushi's color changed from pink to crimson red

After some seconds a small sound of kiss came to his ears
" oh my" how he wanted to hold her in his arms at the very moment but he had to b patient.
"Acha hum rakhtay hain ap apna khayal rakhiyay ga" (ok now i m gonna hang up do take care of urself) 'Aik minute Khushi" he said in a hurry

Khushi smiled and said looking at the phone
"Hum bhi apsay bohat piyar krtay hai" (i love u too)and came to the poolside. One thing she didn't noticed were a pair of eyes who watched the whole scene with so much loath.
It was an evening three days after that convo when he received a call on his mobile from an unknown number. He picked it up.
"Hello" he picked up the call
"hello salay sahib kaisay hain ap" (hello brother in law how r u)Arnav closed his eyes at his voice how he hated this person
"kia baat hai JIJA JI m a bit busy jaldi karain jo baat hai"( whts the matter jija ji m a bit busy so u better hurry up) "baat bohat aham hai salay sahib aur ap k liyay to bohat zayada to himat sy hamari baat suniyay" (
wht i want to tell u is a very important n specially for u its damn important.. so listen to me carefuly)) and the dirt which he said after this made his blood boil to the utmost possible tempreture. After the call of that dirty person ended Arnav was fuming in his anger he tried to cool himself down and drank a full bottle of water. It cant b possible he left his office and came to his hotel room. He will not allow this creep to cause any misunderstanding between him and his wife. He tried to call Khushi but her phone was buss. He tried again and again but all in vein. Atlast at 12 pm IST he tried again but her phone was off. OFF y she never switched her phone off when I was with her no it must b battery problem. He couldn't sleep the whole night and the 1st thing he did early morning was a call to Khushi this time she picked it up. She was sounding tired as she also couldn't sleep whole night when he asked the reason if her mobile to b switched off she said there was nothing important and she wanted to sleep so she switched it off. And then she hung up the call saying she is busy will call him later but the whole day she didn't call. It was enough for Armav. He called his detective and asked him to keep an eye on both shyaam and khushi and if he felt something wrong take pictures and if possible make video as well. He promised to himself tht he will not left the one who was at fault in peace and if it would b shyaam then he will no longer worry abt wht happen to di but he will punish him.
The phone bell brought him to present. He didn't want to speak to any body right now but the call was from di and he couldn't just end it like that. He picked up the call
"Chothey tm kaisay ho tm theek ho tm nay hamain call kion nahi ki hum kitna dar gaye thay " (Chotey how r u? r u ok?y didnt u called me i was so wooried)Anjali was literally on the verge of tears which was for sure bad for her health
" Relax di main theek hun bus thora bussy tha call nahi kr saka ap paraishan na hun. Apnay apni dawai li" (Relax di m fine i was busy so couldnt call u dont worry. have u taken ur medicine)he asked like a robot who speak which was feeded in it.
" Haan chothay waisay bhi yeh hai na hamara khayal rakhnay k liyay" (yes chotey n anyways he is with me to take good care of me) she said shyly
Arnav closed his eyes and clutched his hand in fist. He was not able to forgive tht sanke but he had to bear him for her di and her kids.
" aur meri princess kaisi hai and wht abt my little champ" ( so hows my princess and wht abt my little champ)he asked in a lighter mood coz the only person remained in this world who can ease his pain was his niece his princess
Sohana.
Haan apki princess theek hain aur both zayada bigaada howa hai apnay unhain abhi bhi hum say naraz ho kr apnay kamry main chali gayi hain aur ap ka little champ" (
yes ur princess is fine and u have spoiled her she has just left from here to her room she is angry with me n ur little champ) she said holding her tummy..
wo bhi ajkal tang karta hai hmain (he is also giving me tough time now a days)But arnav was not listening his princess was angry and thts all for him to forget everything
"Kion hai wo naraz kia howa ab meri baat krain" Arnav said in a worried voice.
(y she is angry let me talk to her")"Acha theek hai aik minute" (ok just a minute)Anjali called for the maid and asked her to hand over the phone to Sohana
After knowing tht it was her mamu sohana opened the room with a jerk and snatched the phone from the maid's hands.
"Hello mamu" she said sobbing
Arnav got worried
" hello mamu ki jan kia howa apko ro kio rahi ho" (hello my love y r u weeping)
"Mamu I don't want to eat palak paneer I hate vegetables I want zinger but muma is not allowing me I m not talking to her. She doesn't love me. Where r u I want to come to u right now"Arnav smilled at her cuteness so my princess is angry for just a zinger
"let me call Aman uncle and u will get u happy meal in the next half an hour it's a promise and I need a promise in return tht my princess will not weep and neither she will irritate her muma coz she is not fi9 bacha she needs ur love and support so do we have a deal""Yes mamu" said a beaming Sohana
Anjali took the phone from sohana as she had came to her room and said
" tm isay bilkul bigad do gay chotay pori tarhan say" (
u will totally spoil her)No di dun worry and now m ending the call coz my princess is waiting for her happy meal.He cut the call and then dialed aman's number with a smile. All the bitter memories were gone after hearing Sohana's voice as it always happened.
