Exactly! Nowadays in fake music contests like Indian Idol, all that matters is looks! These tone deaf, beauty loving judges dont care if the contestant is singing totally out of tune or his/her voice is completely unmelodious and ugly...as long as they think the contestant is good-looking, they will praise that one unfairly and also they will criticize the ordinary looking ones even if they sing like nightingales!

Kya zamana aa gaya hai!

In today's superficial, looks crazy world, if great singers like Lata, Asha, Rafi or Manna Dey participated in a music contest like Indian Idol, they will be criticized by judges and voted out because they are not looking good on TV! 😔
