Maan is so engrossed in his work but he suddenly closed his eyes, the place which he saw in the photo came infront of him. He felt a cool breeze, a smile formed on maan's lips. But suddenly the cool breeze changed into a heavy strom. Maan snapped his eyes open, he looked here and there and realized he is in office.
"Maan whats happening to you? But what is that dream, why I am not able to see their faces. God, I am not able to understand anything" thought maan frustratingly. "Maan, you have to come to your place, maan you have to come to your place" came a very dangerous voice. Maan looked here and there but there is no one there. But he felt the voice as real, he is definitely not dreaming. He again closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He then continued his work. The rest of the his work was peaceful. He attended 2 meeting and all went well.
Later in the evening around 7pm, he reached home and saw pari is doing her home work. He smiled at his cute baby and sat next to her.
"Papa.. you are again late today" pouted pari. Maan kissed her forehead and told "sorry princess, I had meetings in the office" told maan. pari smiled cutely at him. They then saw brij entering into KM, maan smiled at him and asked him to sit.
Pari looked nervously at him, she then left from there. Maan smiled at pari and then at brij. "Yaar, she is really afraid of you" told maan. "What did I do? I don't know why your princess is always runs away seeing me?" Told brij in a sad tone. "Hey dude, chillax she is a kid still" told maan and smiled at him. "I will be with geet, maan" told brij and maan nodded.
Maan went to his room and freshened. He went to pari's room and saw her playing alone. He felt a pain when he saw her alone. If her parents are alive then her mother will play with her. But that's not possible. His bhai-bhabhi left this little bundle with him and they left him all alone in this world. he have to take care of KC and many things, at one side he is happy that pari is understanding and she wont pesture him to stay with her. But on the other side he is sad that he is not able to give her much time now. when he goes to college, the college is for half day or so, after that he take care of pari but now after joining office it became impossible for him.
Today he is feeling really lonely, but he promised himself he never tell pari that he is not her dad but her chachu. This small life cant bear this, maan never felt she is not his daughter. He felt a special bond between them, a lone tear escaped from his eyes. He felt a hand on his shoulder, maan turned back and saw brij.
Maan smiled at him and hugged him tight. "Brij, I am feeling lonely today yaar, why all of them left me alone? Today I am living because of pari, kyun uss accident main sirf main hi bacha tha". (why I am the only one left alive in that accident? ). "Why brij why? I cant bear this pain. Mujhe nahi jeena aisa zindagi" cried maan.
Brij broke the hug and took maan to his room. He made him sit on the bed, gave him a glass of water. Maan took the glass and took a sip. "Maan, what happened to you today? I never saw this maan before, I know only strong maan who knows how to face all the problems very boldly. Maan think about pari, how she can live without you, she is a small kid man."
Maan smiled sadly and told "main bhi ek insaan hu brij, kya mujhe dard nahi hota. Babaji ne mujhse sab kuch cheen liya mama, papa, dadi uske baad bhi wok hush nahi the bhai-bhabhi ko bhi.. Main sirf aur sirf pari ke liye jee raha hu, main usko kuch bhi nahi hone doonga.
(I am also human brij, god snatched everything from me, first mom and dad. Even after that he is not happy even bro and bhabhi also. I am only living for pari, I wont let anything happen to her).
"I understand maan" told brij and wiped his tears. Just then pari came there and saw brij wiping maan's tears. Seeing maan in tears pari got worried and called him. "Papa..."
Hearing her Maan immediately wiped his tears and looked at her smiling. But he frowned when he saw big fat tears in her eyes. He rushed to her, took her in his arms and asked "what happened pari? Why you are crying."
"Papa, are you hurt why you are crying?" Asked pari and glared angrily at brij. "Brij uncle scolded you?" Asked pari cutely between her sobs. Maan didn't help but smile when she ask about brij even brij too. Maan wiped her tears and told "no princess, I am fine and brij uncle didn't scold me. Its just something has gone into my eyes."
"Ohhh..." replied pari looking at him and confirming that he is fine. "By the way maan's princess, why I will scold your papa" asked brij folding his hand over his chest. Pari looked at him and then to maan. she then looked at brij and told "you will be always angry and shout on geet aunty and me na, so I thought even you scolded my papa" and hugged maan by his neck possessively.
"Ohh is it so? I don't know. Then why you and your geet aunty do mischief?" Asked brij. Pari looked at maan making baby face. "Ok ok now you stop Brij, my princess is a good girl she wont do any mischief, understood?" Warned maan winked at pari. Brij bowed his head and told "ok boss." They laughed heartily.
Later brij went to his house, pari and maan are in geet's room. "Papa, when aunty will get up" asked pari. "Very soon princess" told maan half heartedly, he don't know when she will be out of coma. He is praying to god daily for geet. Pari made a sad face and told "aunty get up soon na? no one is there to play with me. I am feeling bored. So atleast for playing with me you have to get up."
"Ha geet, see my princess is missing you a lot and she wants to play with you. Till today we never told no to her na, so for her you have to get up" told maan. "ha aunty papa is correct" and smiled at maan. But there is no moment from her. After sometime maan brought food for pari, geet and himself. He fed both of them with his hands and then he ate his dinner. Soon pari slept on his lap keeping her head on his chest, he is just patting her. He held geet's hand and told "geet kab tak yeh sab chalega, we all are worried about you geet. You know all your friends are asking for you in the office. Mainly meera is missing you. What should I tell her? Bolo? You want to work with me na, then what happened now. you have to come back and fulfill your promise by working with me. Let me see how is your work". He then shared what all happened in office. He dozed in the same position, with one hand holding geet's hand and holding pari with other hand.
Next day morning maan got up and saw pari is sleeping, he smiled and placed her next to week and kissed her forehead and geet's forehead too. He was about to go out when he felt some tension in geet's face, he felt strange. He went by her side and wiped the sweat formed on her forehead. Feeling his touch geet relaxed. Strange thing maan didn't see the dream today. For the first time he slept peacefully. But he missed the dream he used to see daily.
Maan went to his room and brushed his teeth. He then stood under the shower. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder within no time he felt someone is hugging him from behind. With the one touch he felt his body is on fire. He closed his eyes, the touch is so soothing. He felt at peace. With a swift, he pulled that person to face him and he pinned her to the wall. When he opened his eyes to see her he found no one. Is he dreaming again? But why he felt that touch so familiar? Why he felt peace in her arms?
"Who are you???" Screamed maan's mind. Maan took the shower immediately, freshed up. Again the usual started, he woke up pari and made her get ready to school. He then enquired with nurse about geet's medicines and her health. He then kissed geet's forehead and left from there.
Days are passing but there is no improvement in geet. Maan, brij and sam are worried for her. But no one knows that she is improving, she is not able to open her eyes but she is listening to all. Pari's sweet sweet moments happened in her school, maan's each and every thing happened on that day. Maan don't know that she is listening, sometimes he use tell how lonely he is? Geet's heart beat becomes fast when she felt his pain, without knowing she too felt the pain inside her. She want to open her eyes and take maan in her arms, but it is not getting possible for her.
When maan use to sleep alone in his room, he use to see that dream, but when he sleep with pari and geet beside him then he didn't see that dream but he felt someone is hugging him and he felt that touch familiar. Who is that???
