When maan use to sleep alone in his room, he use to see that dream, but when he sleep with pari and geet beside him then he didn't see that dream but he felt someone is hugging him and he felt that touch familiar. Who is that???
One day maan is studying a new project file, he heard a knock on the door. Come in answered maan. A young man, same age of maan entered into his cabin. Maan looked up, when he saw that person he first smiled at him but when he remembered about her his face turned red due to anger. "What the hell you are doing here DEV?" Asked maan. Dev looked at him in shock as he never saw maan in so much anger, he care for his friends but anger is very far away from him. But when maan saw pari with dev, he controlled his anger.
"Princess, what are you doing here?" Asked maan. "Papa, dev uncle came to school to pick me up" replied pari with a cute smile on her face. Maan too smiled at her and asked both of them to sit. Dev settled infront of him where as pari setelled on the couch. "Princess, juice?" Asked maan. "Yes papa" replied pari. Maan ordered 2 black coffee and a juice to pari. Soon their drinks arrived and they had them.
"Princess you be with brij uncle I will be back in a while" told maan. Hearing brij's name pari feared, maan smiled at her even dev too. Dev too knows their princess is afraid of Brij. "Beta, brij uncle will not scold you. He is a good person, ok talk with him nicely he wont scold u" convinced maan sitting infront of her on his knees. Pari looked at him and nodded ok. She silenly climed down the couch and made her way towards brij's cabin.
When maan saw her going out of the cabin he turned to dev giving murderous look. Dev had tears in his eyes seeing pari. Maan is taken aback seeing his tears. Maan went near dev and asked "are you ok dev?" Dev hugged maan, "I am sorry maan, I am so sorry for cheating on geet. But I have no other option, I am sorry maan."
Maan broke the hug, made him to sit and gave him a glass of water. Dev had water and looked at him with teary eyes. "Dev, I can see the love in your eyes for her. But why did you do that. You could have talked with geet. Because of your decision she tried to commit suicide". Dev is shocked "what? What are you saying maan, is she alright now?" asked dev utterly horrified. "She is in coma dev" replied maan. Dev's face became pale, he lost the color on his face. Maan too observed he lost so much weight and the dark circles around his eyes.
"Dev, what happened?" Asked maan. "Maan, promise me that you will never tell this to anyone. Geet should think that I have cheated her" told dev. "You are scaring me dev" told maan sensing something is big going to come. Dev smiled sadly and told "I am dying maan". "Dev this is not time to joke" warned maan. "No dude its true, I have Cancer last stage" told dev. Maan is shocked beyond his limit listening this. "Dev..."
"Yes maan, I came to know this recently. How can say this to geet, maan. She will be shattered. That's why I acted infront of her faking a revenge, so that she will hate me and move on in her life thinking I am a cheater" told dev. "I am counting my days man" told dev. Maan hugged dev and told "no dev, nothing will happen to you. We will go to the best doctor and start treatment from today itself". "Maan its already last stage no one can do anything now. and I accepted the fate" told dev.
"You shut up dev, let me talk with doctor" told maan, he is so hyper, he is again loosing someone in his life. "Maan, you pls calm down. Try to understand" tried dev to convince him. "More how many people I have to lose in my life dev" told maan. Seeing the pain in his eyes dev hugged him and told "I will be the last one maan. after that no one will ever leave you and go. Maan I am leaving India forever, but don't worry I will be in touch with you till my last day".
"Don't talk like that dev" cried maan. He is not able to digest the fact that his friend is dying. Dev- the flirt, the man with carefree nature, the man who never cared for anything is now dying. He didn't see anything in his life, then why god is so cruel. Dev is thinking about his life with his friends, their masti, their teasing, when he proposed geet, she accepted and all the funny moments. They both came out of their thoughts when they heard a knock on the door. Maan opened the door and saw sam there. Maan smiled at her and let her in.
Sam looked at dev and smiled slightly at her. Though sam don't like dev much, but dev is so caring towards her. No one knows why he does, he never flirted with her. "Sam you here?" Asked maan. "Dev, what you did with geet is not correct. You should not have done that" told sam. Before maan answer she continued. "And what you did to me is also not correct". Dev and maan looked at her confused. Then dev realized what she meant. "Means???"
Sam hugged dev, "why you didn't tell me till today? Why dev? Don't I have right to know about you?" Asked sam and broke the hug sobbing. "I am sorry sam, I thought you hate me" replied dev. "How can i? you are the only one left to me in this world" replied sam. Hearing this dev collapsed on the chair. "Dev, what happened?" Asked sam. Dev didn't speak anything, sam turned to maan and asked "maan, what happened to dev?"
But maan didn't answer her question. "Sam you never liked dev na? then?" Asked maan. Sam smiled sadly at him and told "dev is my brother. Our father is same, my mom is dad's secretary. After dev's mom death she took care of dev, that time dad and mom became close. But no one knows about their relation. Mom's parents fixed a alliance for her but she refused as she is pregnant at that time. Her parents took care of her even after knowing she is pregnant. After my birth, mom died and her family didn't care for he, they left me in an orphanage when I was just months baby".
Then dev continued, "one day I saw sam's mom photo with dad and the same I saw it with sam, she told she is her mom. When I asked dad about her he told she took care of me and she left him and went away. But the reason is maa's family didn't allow her to go anywhere as she is preanant without wedlock. I came to know sam is my sister" told dev. "And you paid all my fees without my knowledge and took care of me" told sam. Dev just nodded.
Here is brij's cabin, brij is doing work and pari sat silently on the couch. She is getting bored as he is not talking with her. Finally she lost her patience, "brij uncle" shouted pari. Brij looked at her and asked "what princess?" "I am getting bored uncle, I want icecream" told pari its more like an order. "I have work princess" told brij. Pari made a crying face and requested "pls uncle". Brij sighed and told "ok lets go". "Yay thanku uncle" shouted pari in excitement. He took pari and went to icecream parlour.
Here dev took sam to his house, he want to tell his dad about sam. He would be very happy knowing about sam. But maan is very worried about dev. He want to talk with doctor immediately. He took his car keys and went to hospital. But to his dis-appoint the answer is same, but doctor told if he take treatment and medicines regularly, he may survive for 3-5 years. The specialist doctoe is coming the next month, so maan have to convince dev and stop him from going to abroad.
Its already evening and maan reached house from hospital. He didn't find pari anywhere. He remembered she is with brij, "omg.. its almost 2 hours she is with brij. She will kill me for sure" thought maan. he immediately called brij and he informed that they are in icecream parlour. Maan sighed and asked them to come home directly.
Later he checked on geet and saw her sleeping. But when he was about to go there he felt a tight grip on his hand, he thought again the dream girl caught him. "I know if I turn back you will vanish, so pls leave my hand I have work to do" told maan. "Maan..." he heard a voice.
