What is the point of bringing Wild Card entries?

This is not a bash thread against any of the wild card people coming in.

I just fail to understand why they are bringing in new people. What is the purpose of it? It will only extend the show much longer.

Also, I feel it is a bit unfair to the eliminated contestants like Jayati Ji who worked hard to get to this stage and now newer people will get to step right in at this point.

Nonetheless, I am looking forward to seeing the new entries, their performances and how well they dance. All the best to them!

That is bcoz colours don't wanna end it soon and also for TRP, The 1st three eleminated contestant was like unknown to audience now they bring new faces with good fan following to have TRP n GRP increase, They can't run channal on emotions so everything is fair in business...

I agree too, unfair for the others, and it will only make it harder for the others who are already in the show

It's unfair to all of the contestants who have been performing since day one.

They brought in new people to amp up the competition and weed out people who can't keep up. Also, all three wild cards are TV stars with a good fan following. It will attract more people to the show and increase the show's ratings.

But I'm sure they'll provide good entertainment. 😊
