But i agree with everyone's view about Manichitrathazhu..that was of a different class..Vidya Balan is a decent actress for sure,but nothing compared to Shobhana's grace..Anyways Akshay made a total mockery out of himself😛 Cant believe Fazil who made superb movies like Manichitrathazhu and Aniyathipravu made craps like life is beautiful and kai ethum doorathu...

I think that period was theblack period of Malayalam movies in a while, thank God, they are making some really out-of-the-box movies again.

I liked both but the Hindi one a tad bit better because I was able get the full effect of it without relying on subtitles like I had to for the Tamil one.

not exactly the black period i would say..there were good movies..but then it was more about over the top superman kinda movies,heart touching ones were very few...yeah,i agree these days some new directors are coming in front who are ready to experiment rather than sticking to a specific formula..think it started with salt n pepper..i loved that movie..yet to see 22 female kottayam..btw are you from kerala?
