There is a saying in hindi, " Aam khao, gutli mat gino". But some individuals never learn, rather than taking the good things out of the show and appreciating Aamir for bringing the issues forward, they are worried about his salary as if every time time they see SMJ they are paying him form their pockets. Shame on them, for bringing down morals of someone who is doing so much for his country. If these spammers feel so much I would aks them to go do something better and show their smartness to the world. If they can't, they have no right to critisize either. There is another saying, " jab haathi chalta hai to kutte bhokte hai'. But the mighty elephant keeps walking in his masti. Let the spammers bark, I would not even bother to respond to them, its a waste of energy. Save it for good work.

Then same applies for politicians we call them as corrupt, they make money illegally but doesn't take money directly from anyone's pocket., so should we not criticize them ?.

Most of the people are in love with aamir as he was a dream boy for the past 25 yrs, it is very difficult to accept him as not having good intentions, that is the main reason many film stars get elected even though they don't care about people issues, but just because we picture them from movies as good doers. We are in a age where we worship movie stars and treat them as good people whatever they do since we excuse them for all their bad behaviour.

A person who really want to make a difference will strive towards getting a permanent solution, Aamir is crying so much on tv and acting all emotional, lets see whether he will protest , have rallies, stand for a cause and bring at least one issue to a solution. I don't think so.

I am a ardent fan of aamir , but this has changed me and I learned to differentiate between movie stars vs real heroes.

Amir is a host of show like anyone else would have been , irrespective of him being an actor or not. It is general misconception that because he is an actor he is appreciated in the show. Guess any host who would have presided over SMJ would have gotten the same applause and recognition. Why is Aamir targetted for being an actor.

Great post!
Clears up a lot of things.
He is doing something good for society.

However, Number 6...the grapevine says that the main reason for that was because Talash's climax resembled Kahaani's climax...I think Kareena is shown to be pregnant in Talaash.
Still, that's just me beingpedantic.

Amir is doing something good for society. While some members disagree over certain technicalities...it doesn't matter as he is trying to make India sit up and correct the mistakes committed in the past.

Kareena is playing a prostitute in Talaash and the climax of Talaash is an underwater sequence involving a car crash too. There is no pregnant woman in Talaash. And Kahaani did not have any underwater sequence in it. So how come their climax are called similar when nothing at all is known about Talaash except that its climax is a elaborate underwater sequence?

That was only a rumour and director Reema Kagti clarified no re-shooting is being done.

Kareena has been shooting for Heroine, Rani for Aiyya, Aamir was still shooting for remaining episodes of Satyamev Jayate till last week and Nawazuddin is attending film festivals where his films are being screened. All prime cast members of Talaash busy in their own thing - so where and when is re-shooting being done?

Aamir is now being accused of doing the show for 'publicity and whatnot. ow could he have done the show along with releasing the film at the same time? That would have defeated purpose of the show and given more excuses to people for running down Satyamev Jayate or accusing Aamir to use show and film to promote each other!🤢

Aamir also delayed Dhoom 3 for Satyamev Jayate only. He had signed the film in 2011. Media reported it in early 2011, still the film's shooting is not being started, only because Aamir got busy with his TV show and could not allocate dates for it.

He even called off his ad deals so that he could focus solely on Satyamev Jayate and not dilute its message. So let's stop nitpicking.

LOL!😃 What ''anyone else could have been''? Why doesn't anyone else do such shows then? Why don't other stars use their time and resources to make such a show? Later people say anyone could have done it!šŸ˜†

My sole theory is that Satyamev Jayate is getting so much response and having such wide reach only because a popular mainstream star like Aamir is taking up issues and using his resources to make the message reach to maximum people. Otherwise, shows by ordinary people tend to get less noticed. Masses don't lap them up the way they lap up what a famous person is saying.

People easily target actors, but don't realise that even they are reacting only because it is a famous person doing something.

🤣 Sorry to disagree with you! But your logic is puzzling!

On the contrary, I'd say people are targetting him only because he is a film star! Nobody goes with a club after a journalist, or questions his intentions or his personal life like they are after Aamir Khan!

You are now making a case for filmstar's image making people difficult to realise his ''truth'' (according to you!), why don't you question intentions of the Radia scandal accused Barkha Dutt who is still masquerading as a paragon of truth on national TV?!

You say film stars get elected. Dear how many film stars won elections because of their popularity? I know Vinod Khanna lost in Punjab, popular singer Hans Raaj Hans got nothing in his own home state Punjab when he fought elections and neither is Chiranjeevi's party making waves in Andhra!

Secondly, elections and a TV show on social issues are TWO DIAMETRICALLY DIFFERENT things! A TV show's job is to raise awareness on social issues and call to mobilise action and support for causes and to create debate around issues. It's outlandish to compare it to movie stars fighting elections!🐷

And what ''bad behaviour'' has Aamir Khan done for which he is being ''excused''?

And what ''permanent solution''?!šŸ˜† Transparency International has been working for corruption related issues for decades now. Did it get any permanent solution? Many NGOs for various issues like poverty, hunger, domestic violence etc. - still all problems continue to exist. There has been NO permanent solution. So are they are all fake or useless?😲

Why do you challenge only Aamir and Satyamev Jayate to find a ''permanent solution'' and diss them if they are not able to?!🤪

Mister you claim to be a ''fan of Aamir'', do you know how many causes he has supported till date? How much he has donated to causes throughout - even before he made Satyamev Jayate? How many rallies has he attended - including rallies after Bombay riots in 1993 and Anna Hazare's rally last year? Do you bother to look up news on that before making your judgemental comment on him?🤣

Satyamev Jayate is having positive impact in real life and raising donations worth lakhs for NGOs each week supported by the show. But you obviously don't know of that or would ignore it to support your own bashing agenda!

If you have indeed learnt to differentiate between stars and real stuff then think you should have focused on issues raised in Satyamev Jayate and not just Aamir or his intentions (according to you). 🤔

And please also protest against government for using stars in polio or Incredible India campaigns and also haul up UNICEF for using celeb ambassadors. Preach to people to focus on issues themselves and look for solutions than respond only when a famous person comes forward!

Don't you question anyone volunteering for any good cause demanding salary ?.

This is just a show , so just feel bad about the people who are in the situation , see if you can help, but don't say aamir did this for a good cause as this is just another entertainment show for him.

Whatever the revenue and the deals published is not the only source of revenue. I am well aware of the industry where they make deals and the profit cannot be tracked easily.

Aamir's intention is ''not good''?🤣 Lo kar lo baat! What is so wrong and evil in making a show on social issues, raising donations for NGOs through it and creating awareness?🐷

''Playing with human emotion''!!! How? How did his highlighting real life stories (it is not fiction), facts and stats ''play with human emotions''?! 🤪And why don't you accuse Oprah or Zindagi Live anchor of playing with emotions? Why are you after Aamir?!😔

By your logic all journalists are playing with human emotions because at least Aamir is donating through Satyamev Jayate, but those journos only highlight worst and saddest stories and take salary for it, making entire channel or magazine and entire career on lives of other people!šŸ˜†

Aamir has to pay salary to his team at Aamir Khan Productions too. And he has clarified in CNBC-TV 18 interview that NONE OF THE MONEY he is taking is going to his account! It is production cost of Satyamev Jayate!

And why should he be hauled up when his show is also raising donations worth lakhs each week for NGOs? And making real life positive impact?

You keep talking of inside ''profit-making'' ways (which you CLAIM to know of but don't elaborate! 🤪) but like any other basher, ignore the positive outcomes of this show - which happened due to people who focused on its message and the issues, rather than bashing Aamir.

Funny how we always write in school and college essays also, that we need mass media to address social problems. But when cinema, mass media and famous people like Aamir come forward to do something we sense some sinister motive in all this!🤢

Odd that you want people to see if they can help some cause, but dictate that one should not praise Aamir and one should realise his intention was bad! 🤣

Show is good, causes and issues are okay, people taking awareness from it is okay, positive impact is good BUT don't praise Aamir, Aamir is bad! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!🤪🤔

Bhai saab whatever good things are there in this show are due to Aamir only who made this show with his team and even convinced STAR to not to alter the format to make it ''entertaining'' and he even got screens set up in rural areas so that people could watch the show. The show has been made possible with his efforts only. Nothing bad in those efforts and nothing bad in his intentions!

If he only wanted money, he could have made way more money from even a mindless film with some comedy and action. He didn't need to invest so much time and money from his own pocket for such a show.

And because he insisted on morning slot for the show and lot of repeat telecasts - he and STAR are finding it difficult to recover investment from the show.

I am amused at how some business papers are estimating how Satyamev Jayate is not entirely profitable for STAR or ad sponsors and how on other hand some of you are estimating huge hidden profits on your own, which they might have earned!šŸ˜†šŸ˜‰
