Annika,

Very good response. It seems like you had put a lot of thought and your response was very insightful and patient. My original reaction after watching the show was impulsive, probably not thought all the way through.

personally if he was paid a million dollars for each epi i wont care . alest the show is changing other pple thinking and behavior in a good way. money spend on education is not spend it is invested.

the point that SJ is trying to put forward is just as important as education.

People watching this show are carried away with emotion which says aamir is a great actor and director. There may be some good coming out of this show, but aamir's intention was not good, he wants to make money by playing with human emotion which is absolutely not right. Don't you question anyone volunteering for any good cause demanding salary ?.

This is just a show , so just feel bad about the people who are in the situation , see if you can help, but don't say aamir did this for a good cause as this is just another entertainment show for him.

Whatever the revenue and the deals published is not the only source of revenue. I am well aware of the industry where they make deals and the profit cannot be tracked easily.

I am not an emotional person at all but when some is doing or atleast trying to do some quality work n d facts r showing his sacrifices for doing so I think we sud appreciate n give his share of respect to him.. I am not saying AAMIR is a true hero or not but whatever his effort must be appreciated .. its not hero worship but d truth is he has done a lot, given a lot for SMJ which is quite needed in our country r8.. no other star has shown such guts or dedication like AAMIR .. he is d only one who channeled his star power for something good .. don't u think so??

@ Sayaneegupta

I appteciate the time and effort you have put into gathering all the information and posing it here.
Yes,initially there were a lot of people-including I-who talked about the fees he was charging-Rs3.5 crores IS a mind boggling figure for most of us!

But the sheer IMPACT of the program silenced most of his critics like me.And if you go back and check, that thread discussing his fees, died its natural death as people like you and Annika provided us with more & more relevant facts and figures...so a tight slap on our face seems rather harsh!

Uninformed people coming to wrong conclusions need to be INFORMED as the two of you have done so singularly well and eloquently...could we please be spared the tight slap?! Just asking-politely!
