Rama was generations before Krishna, but they were not related. Yayati and his lineage were descendants of Chandra, which is why they are known as Chandravansh, whereas Rama was directly descendent from Surya.

I mean when did Himavan ever fight anyone? In the Ramayan, when Dundoobhi, after being declined by Varuna, went to fight Himavan, the latter sent him to fight Vali, who dispatched him to yamalok.

I would loved to see her growing up with himavan and mena too. I think its kumarsamvab, where the poet writes, while little girl parvati used to play, the sound of her nupur would mesmerize everyone and even devatas from devlok would come to see her play. Here we only see maina beating, scolding and thrashing her. get her out of the asrama O All Power CV s and please bring narad muni. I miss his narayan narayan. he is my most favorite character.
I think HImavan fighting with nagas are direct influence of immortals of meluha. Somewhere i read, when the show was first to start, they planned to base it on Immortals of Meluha too.
