u are absolutely right...anushka does remind of mouni...specially her eyes and the hairdo...even her entry was same to that of Sati ji...😒

and wats wid mena devi yaar...keeps screeching at the top of her voice...her sequence mein Parvati Parvati...agrrr..its so annoying...🤢🤢

precap looks interesting...it wud be gud to see Mahadev back in action...though in flashback...but chalega...😊😊

yes, but then again, divine couples usually are quite determined from young age. Whatever i am totally with mena for this case.

dadhichi seems tobe out of job, he is restless and he won't be on job unless he has some one very well defined to oppose his sentiments or ideas, like daksha did, may be thats why all these acts.

I am also not sure, thats why i asked. Yajati was the one who took youth from his son puru right? and thats why later puru was blessed with puru vansha? I think it was satyayuga. coz debjani, daughter of sukracharya was his wife i think. And puru is the progenitor of Rama and also after many many generations the pandavas and kauravas.

Rama didn't belong to that lineage - he belong to the Suryavansh, and was descended from Manu, son of Surya/Sanjna. Whereas Yayati was a a descendent of the Chandravansh - totally different lineage, which wasn't tied to the Suryavansh.

Vibs asked this same question in the Doubts & Discussions thread about whether Dadhichi was even still around when Parvati was born, given that Indra may have had the vajra long b4 that.

OH , now i am totally confused

I always thought chandra vansh and suryavansh were all one and same , descendant of ikhyakshu and that they got separated at a much later date and basically Ram is like a generations before pandavas and kauravas and lord K and they are all somehow related.

Well i suppose we all r related going back to adam and eve or Brahmadev.

Rama was generations before Krishna, but they were not related. Yayati and his lineage were descendants of Chandra, which is why they are known as Chandravansh, whereas Rama was directly descendent from Surya.

I'd like to see some animated siggies w/ action from Mahadev sometime. In the meantime, it's good that Mohit Riana and Kumar Hegde are getting a well deserved break. Only thing I'm not liking is Parvati growing up w/ Dadhichi. I'd have much preferred them showing her growing up w/ Himavan and Meena - I hate the CVs playing fast & loose w/ the story. I mean when did Himavan ever fight anyone? In the Ramayan, when Dundoobhi, after being declined by Varuna, went to fight Himavan, the latter sent him to fight Vali, who dispatched him to yamalok.

I would loved to see her growing up with himavan and mena too. I think its kumarsamvab, where the poet writes, while little girl parvati used to play, the sound of her nupur would mesmerize everyone and even devatas from devlok would come to see her play. Here we only see maina beating, scolding and thrashing her. get her out of the asrama O All Power CV s and please bring narad muni. I miss his narayan narayan. he is my most favorite character.

I think HImavan fighting with nagas are direct influence of immortals of meluha. Somewhere i read, when the show was first to start, they planned to base it on Immortals of Meluha too.
