nice epi comment coming through.

so i read in the parvati thread this girl anuska is a fabulous dancer, so we will get some dance appearance from her it seems.

I can totally feel maina predicament.😆 Imagine your 4 year old kid talking about marriage and then wanting to get married to a buddha who is like a million yrs older than her and is filthy poor? No wonder she is throwing a hissy fit. reminds me once i was talking very enthusiastically about my wedding menu, i was in class 8 or 7 probably. My grandma threw a hissy fit and gave me 10 pages translation as punishment.😆

DID any one else like yamraj? I am his fan at his first glance. He looked familiar, maybe i have seen him in ramayan?

Sorry to sound negative, but another lame episode. If in yesterday's serial they imported Pootna & Shambara's story into this, today they started smuggling stories not from ancient, but mediaeval Indian history. In this case, Mirabai's story was now projected on Parvati 🤢

While I don't appreciate the CVs making Mena to be a female Daksha, one thing I do agree w/ her - it's too early and too young for Parvati to be thinking and talking about marriage. Similarly, the kids in the playground - particularly the boys - talking about marrying their dolls to the dolls of girls - really, even in Satya Yuga, who ever did that? Somehow, I didn't appreciate the boys here being shown as pretty much effeminate - real boys would have taken their dolls and made them fighting action figures, even if they were Brahmanas.

Also, when Tarakasura's soldiers surrounded them, and knew who Parvati was, why did they have to chase them? Just hurling the javelin @ her would have taken her out. Incidentally, when Parvati emerged from the pond, I liked the shoes she was wearing. Although in the promo, she's shown running around barefoot. And what's w/ the white sari - only widows wore that, not maidens. Same question about Meena, although today she wore something colorful as well.

Poor Dadhichi! He must be waiting for the day Indra will come to him and ask him to give up his life so that the vajra can be made out of his bones.

Re: the precap of Shiva saving Markandeya from Yamaraj, this is precisely the sort of stories they should have shown @ the start of the serial, instead of being overly focussed on Daksha and his elaborate establishment of sons-in-law. Instead, they're showing these only in flashback mode.

Bingo, now the cv's are recyling garbage it seems.
as for meena's feeling, well i also said the same, any mother will be scared. Although not so long ago, around 80 years back gouridan used to be quite popular in Bengal, means marrying a girl less than 8 yr old, those girls would be taught about marriage and stuff right from infancy.
why are even boys are girls playing together. ashramas are usually quite strict and boys and girls would have separate playing ground and dorms in general. this is like co education situation.
I don't want to comment on boys playing dolls. Coz i intend to show this epi to my nephew and teach him that how to respect girls and their dolls.
@ bold red: since when are asuras in the soaps smart ass and when has the mytho/ historical shows shown it easier? Forget soaps, when bw movies show all sorts of absurd stuff that villains do, this is verx small stuff. I just hope parvati is shown to protect herself. I am so tired of seeing all these ladies and goddesses potrayed as helpless women who has to wait till prince charming come and defend them.

Btw: I never knoew dadhichi was such a big bhakt of shivji, he always came of as a one off, extremely powerful rishi. WHen exactly did the Brityasura event happen , approximately in what timeline?
In the beginning the show was more or less focussed as a love story, all those moments, alpha male saving heroine type imaginary sequences were indicating. NOw since they cannot show thoese things , they are using some story. Also the romantic stuff helped create the viewership and trps and now the makers can confidently experiment and show other stuff as well.

btw: i finally watched a couple fo december january epis and OMG, chandrama stole santa's reindeers and sledge !!!!!

Vrish: are you already shipping sonarika mohit? thats an interesting siggie

It's just a placeholder for now. Normally, couple pics don't interest me so much - I wasn't a fan of Shiva-Sati, nor Shiva Parvati, nor Rama-Sita. I want some action creations - like Shiva smoking Kamadev, or something really funny. Remember how in the Ramayan days, I usually had rakshasha siggies, and when they were showing the Swarna-kamal episodes, I had siggies made of the fictional characters there and paraded it, creating quite a few laughs.

While child marriage was popular in mediaeval and even 20th century India, it was less prevalent in ancient India - girls were usually in their teens when married. And given that Parvati was something like 1000s of years old, showing her talking about marriage now is ridiculous.

Also, Dadhichi seemed to have no fear - right after Mena scolding him, he gives Parvati an image of Shiva. Looks like a glutton for punishment. I think Indra vs Vritra war took place in the Treta Yuga, since it was followed by Indra abandoning Devalok and Nahusha becoming the ruler of the devas for a while. Nahusha's son was Yayati, who was the last of the undivided chandra-vansh - his 5 sons started 5 different dynasties. I don't think that Yayati's activities took place in the Satya Yuga, although I could be wrong.

Anyway, from this, seems like Dadhichi has quite a while left. Unless they show Vritra getting killed b4 Taraka.

Yes i remember. I am also looking for some good siggie! I am just too lazy to to start working on them, i will eventually.
yes, but then again, divine couples usually are quite determined from young age. Whatever i am totally with mena for this case.

dadhichi seems tobe out of job, he is restless and he won't be on job unless he has some one very well defined to oppose his sentiments or ideas, like daksha did, may be thats why all these acts.

I am also not sure, thats why i asked. Yajati was the one who took youth from his son puru right? and thats why later puru was blessed with puru vansha? I think it was satyayuga. coz debjani, daughter of sukracharya was his wife i think. And puru is the progenitor of Rama and also after many many generations the pandavas and kauravas.

I am quite sure that we will see the Lord of the Rings Scene when frodo crosses over to rivendell
and the black riders are washed away in the waters of the river

similar to how parvati crossed the river frodo barely manages to cross the river and then flood waters carry away the black riders when they step into the river

just a thought though, thought to share with you all.

tomorrow the asurs will get washed away in the river.

regards

Nice update ,thank you ...

Girl is so cute ,but her dialogue delivery is something messy . As every one said her dressing style is same as much as Mouni 😒.
Rishi dadhichi ,this man is killing ,placing mahadev's murthi in her hands ,after hearing so many red words form Mena😆.

Over all enjoyed .So our Little heroine is calling our Mahadev .Hope he will do something.

personally i would prefer that parvati herself gets rid of those asurs instead of calling mahadev for help...as indicated by vishnu in the earlier episodes she is capable of protecting herself..it will be quite a spectacle to watch he combat the bad guys herself...no more damsel in distress please...lets have some real woman power from here!!
