Gunjan's mother should have prepared her daughter. The daughter is quite old enough to understand and give support. By hiding the truth until the last moment, the mother has done injustice to her daughter.

And poor Shail has to bear the brunt of Gunjan's anger.

I agree, Sneha shud have prepared Gunjan of her impending death, it would have been a lot easier for Gunjan to realise her mother was in pain and cancer was slowly destroying her, this surprise death is something no one shud do in real life. It becomes easier to accept once death when we deal with it openly...
