Why are we assuming that Megha LOVES Mohan?

When we befriend someone, we like them. We crave their well-being, we feel sad at them going away from us. We notice them in a way. Does that mean we are in love with them? A big NO. I just can't imagine why we are thinking Megha is in love with Mohan RIGHT NOW. Clearly she's not. Everything felt by her towards Mohan is what people normally feel for their friends who they hold close to them.

I think a lot of people are assuming this because they want the two to become a couple. I think Megha has some feelings for Mohan, even if she's in denial or repressing them for the sake of her family. But I'll admit that the reason I have this opinion is because I'm biased and want the two to get together.

But you raise a good point. From an objective viewpoint, it's certainly possible that Megha's feelings towards Mohan are solely platonic. After all, nothing has actually happened to make us think otherwise. I kind of wish the story would focus more on Megha's feelings instead of leaving it a mystery for us. We all know where Mohan stands, but what about Megha?

We are not thinking that. Mohan is thinking that. He's misreading all the signals. Megha cares for him deeply as a friend and he's misunderstood that to be her love for him. (You can't really blame the guy, he's in love.) He's putting words in her mouth, and I would have slapped him too.

The CVs have left me STUNNED today. They're so brilliant!

AND, Though he hinted it, I'm so glad he didn't actually say the words "marry me"...

AANNDD, how PERFECT was "Darmiyaan" for the show today? Especially the female vocals...fit the situation to a 'T'!

I'm so very proud to call myself a NBT fan.

we are not thinking yaar...makers made us to think lik that...be franly once once sanjay's boss touched megha she slapped...befor mohan megha fndshp..also whn ever mohan touched megha ...she didnt say any thing...she is always thr for mohan...she is done almost...megha luv mohan...coz she thinks mohan after leaving mohan in rain...sry if hurt uuu...Im unable to type...coz sleepy...

Your point is theoretically correct but the evidence points the other way. She has confessed that after Amar she trusts Mohan completely and trust is one step away from love if not part of love itself. Secondly she has confessed to Jiji that she is really unhappy if Mohan is unhappy - another sureshot signal of love. Thirdly that mad run to stop him from leaving her life, nobody but who is in love would do that. And she loves his company , revels in his stupid jokes and is completely comfortable with him (remember the morning tea playacting at the farmhouse). And finally when she is not on her guard and is spontaneous, she does things which a woman in love would do - accepting the red rose till Amar was mentioned, fondly taking care of his shirt, spontaneously reaching out for the pink saree...

Too many telltale signals and yet she is trying her best not to admit to herself that she is in love as she feels this would be unfair to Amar which it is not. I think Mohan told her exactly this and why she feels the way she feels. And she is now even more uncomfortable because she now knows that Mohan knows that she knows that she has feelings for him. (hope the last sentence was not confusing!)

Yes many of things megha feels can be purely platonic but the way she ran to stop him, when just a while before she saw Amar being brutally murdered. But her wish to stop mohan overrided that pain. Moreover he asked "kis haq se rok rahi ho" she couldn't answer him, though she has a all time ready reason of Amar, which she professed today. Her reasoning that he might get hurt is really lame because she has hurted him many times by her mistrusts and everything.

If she was clear in her mind and she wants to have him just a friend, then instead getting nervos seeing and avoiding him, she should have spoken to him calmly about it. Even if he didn't believe her words, she should have behaved with the right way to make him realise that she is only a friend and that he can't expect anything more from her.

And moreover the CVs are showing her thinking about him all the time now. She sees the dinner table chair where he sat and is reminiscing about him. It clearly indicates that she loves him. Also nowadays female de re na has started playing too😆 like in the scene where mohan returns to the mohalla in his bike. These are the tools that CVs use to show that a person in love or atleast close to it. So its not what we say. Thats what the CVs are showing us.

Megha is certainly in love with mohan...but at a sub conscious level and this is the reason for her confused state of mind, she herself is not able to justify lot of her own actions and words in relation to Mohan. Last 2-3 episodes have highlighted more of Megha's feelings towards him and may be Megha is also concerned that she is falling / fallen for Mohan and is using Amar's memories as a shield to stay away from him. Her heart and mind are not in sync right now and Mohan has understood this fact, which made him cmoe back to the mohalla. Megha's slap will pain her more than him and this will be a stepping stone towards her realisation of her true feelings for Mohan.

There! you said it all di 👏... even if I were in her place, I wud've done the same ... in a way, Mohan was right to make her realize that she needs to let go of her past & move on BUT that doesn't mean he can just push her to admit that she loves him when she only sees him as a friend ... to be honest, I still didn't see any sign of love from Megha... she still cares for him as a friend... the love is yet to make its way down... & only Mr. Mohan Bhatnagar can make her fall in love with him 😍
