Hi Zarin,,
I'm pippa...absolutely loved your take on the episode...it's morning where I come from and it's pre-breakfast time...and I'm hungry as well like poor little trishna...but the ache in my belly currently has nothing to do with hunger pangs...it's a belly ache stemming from belly laughter..if there is even such a thing.

I love the way you write.👍🏼

Few things I liked about 29th May episode...
1) Padmini being totally traumatized by Balraj, so much so that she starts hallucinating 😭
2) The instinct of a mother to protect her child...Padmini was bang on the way she pulled Trishna out of harms way.
3) The tribute the team paid to Sholay 😃
4) Roma the diva showed the qualities required for reaching the top...if the show does not go as per the script...improvise 😃
5) Breaking down of Padmini when she realises how alone she is in this big bad world 😭

The foundation is being laid very well for the future...eagerly waiting for DD's entry 😛

Yeyeye Faree, mayu, anuja, pramila ,khush,🤗hi to all my old friends.
Faree nice analysis. happy to see pindy queen's entry in dramatic way, The girl trisha is really courageous lol . She gonna be a complete opposite to MB i think. trisha feeds biscuits to dogs though she was hungry,I could see the in her eyes how her character gonna shape in feature after padmini faints, she gonna be protective & rude & possessive i think Now balraj is is the only catchy jallad character in the show most of us are fida over him.

what hit me the most was when Trishoo asked Paddy if her dad is a bad person? ...that kind of got to me..and the skillful way in which Paddy covered up a child's view in not viewing her own father as evil in such a young age and terming him to just to get increasingly blended in games like hide and seek and they are hiding and can't lose...aww..that was a beautiful scene for me..yes another symbolic scene was what was mentioned as a symbolic significance which indicated that BJ probably will never stop emotionally or psychologically chasing Mb even if the goons may physically seize at a point of time ...I think that was highlighted in that hallucinating mirror scene in the make up van , Paddy's subconscious horror and knowing of Bj not giving up and BJ's continuous hunting of his ball of future tuning into pathological obsession it seems ...hopefully we will see baby MB today 😳 BJ has brains , btw...i think he already knows now that its a girl as he said that if it was boy , it would be her glory too as its her child as well, so something is not adding up right...and i guess today will be Sushmita Mukherjee's last scene ..Roma is vivacious and yet she makes you laugh..she is uncultivated , selfish and yet knows the ways of the world..i liked her regardless of her having uncultivated vulgarity cause Roma seems to be a strand of a variation of colours that will be displayed distinctively even in a single scene..

Hi Pippa and thank you :) Haha, I hope you were able to solve both of your pangs. We don't need anymore (fake) blood lovers, right? ;)

And yup, there is such a thing as belly laughing. Well, I certainly hope so anyways. Otherwise...what have I been doing? 😳

By the way, I liked your analysis - especially your comments on Balraj and Roma.

Hi guys, most of you are probably off the forum by now but we're likely to meet tomorrow. I'm Zarin, for those who don't know :) I wanted to add my two cents before tomorrow's episode.

  • Okay, first off - how did the goons get into the studio? Is it really that easy to get into a studio in Mumbai? Seriously, genuine question. Because if it is, why the heck am I studying my butt off instead of cruising my dramatic self into Bollywood? xD
  • Haha that's what I said! Great minds ;)
  • I was worried for a second when I saw one of the nincompoops look for Padmini from under the bus instead of walking around. I thought that maybe they possessed a brain between them but alas! Aal waz well. They couldn't see her even if she was right in front of them. Literally.
  • The hallucination scene was brilliant. Although I knew from the start that it had to be a hallucination, Balraj still managed to freak me out. I love seeing that sadistic man-child on my screen. He brings tension into each of his scenes like a good antagonist should and he does it with dramatic flair and without a year's worth of eyeliner on so it's plus points from me!
  • I will probably be alone in this viewpoint but children on television irritate me. Really. It doesn't matter how adorable or how brilliant they are, they will most likely get on my nerves pretty soon. I'm hard pushed to find more than, say, two children who have not been subject to my scathing retorts despite their being an adorable moonpie (read: evil bundles of tears). That being said, Trishna has so far been exempt from my malicious ways so I have my fingers crossed for her.
  • OMG I love you. Like seriously, I do 😆 I've ALWAYS felt the same way just never bothered to mention it lest everyone thinks I'm some kind of heartless bitch. Hollywood has some great child actors but every kid I've seen in indian TV annoys the heck out of me! Mum claims I'm 'jealous' (God knows why!!) but they can't act nor speak.

Something to add about the pilot episode: The 'Choli Ke Peeche' sequence was garish, unappealing and completely appropriate for its cause. However, it didn't really interest me, nor did it compel me to get up and shake my thang so I couldn't really sign off on it.

Well that's it for today, folks!

BTW where did you dissappear off to? Missed Reel finale! Exams going on?

I know, I was gutted! :( It ended on my birthday too. Yeah, I had exams but they just finished last week so now I'm free to doss about for a bit and catch up on all of the stories. There's so much, it's a little daunting. But I'll definitely leave a post on the thread once I'm finished with REEL. I'm betting the finale was great.
