Hey Ladies :D I am so glad so many of you interacted on the last thread, I thought I'd be all alone 😆 A few notes, please do take the time to read them!

Some of you have asked me why I chose this title, trust me its silly and nonsensical! Nothing of great amusement at all...I'm a sad pathetic creature really 😆 Yesterday, I said I would post the reason on the fourth thread...why? I have no frickin' idea!

I can't always make it home to open this thread, especially next week because I have so much going on. So if anyone is interested please drop me a PM :D

Drop a name on this thread so we know what to address you by, interact with each other - reply to others comments, discuss! Don't let me do all the work ;) I'm no hitler you can post anything on this thread as long as its relating to Madhubala, the actors (and only the actors...please don't bring past relationships or shows into this!)
___

I personally thought today's episode was much better planned and executed than the previous. Not only was the length appropriate, the scripting was tighter and they limited the exaggeration and loud acting...well at most places.

Well the episode starts off with Padz (That's her new 'hip' nickname :p) and Trish (LOL) walking into the film set. Which make me wonder, is it really that easy to access a closed set? Hmm...maybe I should hamper into a set and see if I can get myself a supporting role (though my acting skills are far too great to linger at the back ;) ) Padz...okay I hate the nicknames, lemme stick to their actual names...Padmini has probably never stepped out of their house or their village at the most so this film set never struck her as one. Which is weird because there are loads of cameras and lights but then again I'm assuming she's never seen one...but didn't it strike her a little odd?

On the other hand, she has just escaped from her psychotic husband and his lunatic mother so we can't expect her to be Sherlock at this moment. Not to mention after finally escaping from the guns and blood shed that must have been terrifying.

The Roma person or whatever her name is...is a real diva and just about brought a smile to my face. She's a confident wannabe. With sour lips and pseudo-intellect, she's quite an amusing character. Really all-talk! She thinks of herself as a queen bee, prima donna...better than the rest. Quite a loud and out there person...she does bring attention to herself. Her character in the future can go two ways, a pathetic back-ground vamp...someone to make Padmini's life hell OR someone with a tart exterior but a softer heart. I really do hope for the latter, she's a light character with potential. With the morbid background and setting, the show needs some fun...and I think she'd be a great protective sort of character for Padmini.

And the goons return once again (DISHUM DISHUM DISHUM DISHUMMM!!!) and I actually watched the whole sequence this time! Personally, I felt it was more comical than intense like it should have been. The falling sound effects were atrocious...and the whole chase was purely executed. I'm going to overlook the fact she was in plain bloody eye-sight, as the trio were mere nincompoops.

Two scenes I liked and really brought some depth into Padmini's character was the hallucination scene and when she found Trishna feeding the dogs. Padmini is a deeply traumatised woman (add the pregnancy hormones and BANG!) due to the poor treatment she received at still quite a youthful age. There will always be the constant fear of her husband finding her lingering over her back...

The second scene worked well for me because it was such a natural reaction. Anyone in their right mind would freak out if they saw their only food being fed to dogs. Trishna is still a very innocent, in her eyes she just sees two hungry dogs that deserve to be fed too...all children have this spark of purity and piousness that sadly fades with age.

BUT (yes there is always a but!) the lady has gold, a super heavy sari which she could easily trade for money and simpler clothes. Not that it is necessary now because of the man in the white trousers.

Owl food:

-Who is this man?

-Did he take her to his home?

-Could he be related to the film fraternity?

-What job will Padmini take, in the sets?

-Will Balraj find her?

Hello all...I am Manashi and am based in Kolkata.

First and foremost, I applaud the makers of this show to be brave enough to try something genuinely different on television withing the limited time and budget constraints.

To be very honest, the show was not a pleasant start as far as I am concerned. I have a personal reservation about watching sexual and child abuse of any kind on an audio-visual medium.

Though I understand, sometimes scenes are written to establish the feel and characters of a show, but the shooting scene yesterday, I wish they did it differently. The fact that the child actor emoted brilliantly added to my miseries.

I understand, there has been a discussion about the show being regressive in showing children and women being shown as door mats, but I liked the fact that the lady Padmini finally found courage to leave that hell hole and find a new life for her children.

The sets, back ground score, costumes (make up of Shagufta Ali was way too loud though) were done in good taste.

The actors are perfectly cast, though Raj Zutsi seemed over-flamboyant yesterday, he was toned down for good today.

My personal favorite has been the ganpati scene, very very 70mm. Well done.

Now, coming to today's episode.

I am not sure for how many days I would watch the show because of some personal reservations, let alone write reviews, but today I just could not stop myself from posting this because of one person : Padmini.

One of the finest female characters I have seen on TV in recent times.

Yesterday, her single decision of going back to that house to take along her step daughter at the risk of getting killed speaks a lot about the character. She has not been projected as a rebellious woman from the beginning. In fact she is very much the opressed wife and dughter-in-law, but when it came to her children, she rose and how.

Three things stood out for me tonight.

1. When the fake robber aimed a gun, instinctively Padmini hid Trishna behind her, without being obvious, a very small but profound gesture showing how great a woman she actually is.

2. Balraj Chaudhury fits all the swear words in every language known to mankind, still this woman does not allow the child to think ill of her father, lest it should pollute her innocent mind with hatred, fear and may be revenge. A very motherly gesture.

3. And last of course, the outburst. Finally the pain, agony, insecurity and uncertainty comes out as frustration and she lashes out at her daughter.

When the story takes a leap and this girl grows up, I guess she and Padmini will always share something extra that would be beyond Madhubala. these moments of horror will bind them together in a stronger bond.

So, as predicted yesterday, if at all there arises a situation of sibling rivalry, I would not be surprised if Padmini choses Trishna over her own blood.

And hats off to the actress playing the character.

Good luck to the show and DD. If morning shows the day, MB will have a great run, touch wood.

God Bless :))

Great to see so many Maaneetians here!đŸ€—

Well coming to the episodes now!

I loved the show to the hilt! Every scene was mesmerizing and every minute was I was on the edge.😃

Padmini's escape was great along with Trishna. It was great to see her out of the clutches of Balraj and finally she is going to live her life on her own with her both daughters- Madhubala and Trishna. Padmini is a strong character and they have yet not showed any bloopers in her character.

She wants to live for her daughter who yet to be born and off course her step daughter Trishna. I can see her struggling to make her life, and finally she lands up on the sets, where Madhubala will be born. The escape was dramatic, and Padmini left no stone unturned to realease her from the cage that Balraj had locked her in.

She has to struggle now. But she will be on her own, all by herself. She will draw immense strength from her daughter and the coming daughter. Madhubala and Trishna will be her responsibility and her entire life will revolve around her.

I see Trishna as a girl who will have to sacrifice everything for her sister who yet has to be born. She will have to take care of her mother and Madhubala now. Trishna is a person who has lost on her childhood. She has been neglected by her family except Padmini. And hence when she will see Padmini with Madhubala, she will be possessive of Padmini.

Ti loved the concern of Padimini as a mother when she questioned Trishna about she feeding the dogs! Poignantly done!👏👏

Great work by the Entire Team! A Wonderful episode!👏👏

Dying to see DD make an Entry!😍😍

Love,

Mayu

So just read eva (evasumi) ka post and DD told her she enters on next tuesday... 😒 😭 ...awww... I don't mind until i get more of BC aka Balraj... đŸ€Ł 😈
Looks like they might also put foundation of RK's life till then... đŸ€” 😆 and how Paddy and trishna settle in Mumbai... 😳 ...My other guess is according to initial 2nd promo we might see few moments from a kiddo MB... 😛
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Balraj is really really hopping like a Mad bull... 😳 ...and his OCPD streaks were sort of highlighted when he was a mad fierce guy at one moment and the next second a calmed down kiddo by his momma darling whjo acts as the AC/Cooler calming him with positive lollypops of the manipulated kiddo in him... đŸ€Ł 😉
Raj and pallavi were the heroes yesterday and will be I guess when it comes to phenomenal scenes apart from the leads of course... 👏
Slowly and slowly getting possession of Madhu is going to become this kiddo's candy which he won't stop to throw tantrums for (search her) till he gets it... đŸ€Ș 😉
there's news DD ain't coming till Tuesday , and as per norms of our telly VD too won't come before... 😆...PS: I love Rakhi Vijan since Hum paanch days... 😆... I am guessing she is gonna be that comic selfish item which often gives a good laugh if shaped properly 😆
