I liked his honesty and to the point investigation..although to have a blood test in a police station was 😕 but still..itna toh chalta hai😆
Coming to the main point ... this thought which had been crossing my mind since quite sometime...I thought I should post here..dont know if this has been discussed before...
The story is quite eerily similar to the sensational Murder of a poetess Madhumita Shukla...She was the same..coming from the small town..In there also Amarmani got job for Madhumita's brother and got her family settled..she started trusting him..and one fine day was gunned down at close range by two visitors in her two-room apartment in Lucknow's Paper Mill Colony. She was seven months pregnant at the time...
In June 2003, the chief investigator in the case, Mahendra Lalka (IPS 1967), was suspended, apparently because of his refusal to give Tripathi a clean chit as desired by Mayawati. The case was subsequently transferred to the CBI and Amarmani was arrested in September 2003. Phone calls relating to the murder were traced to Tripathi's wife Madhumani, who was also subsequently convicted for the murder.
