KKR victory boosts Brand SRK!
It's surprising how cent percent correct Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar's prediction has come about on the outcome of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
A day before the match, the public relations specialist had said, "Chennai Super Kings is a tough team to beat, and it will take a strong initial lead. But Shah Rukh Khan's fighter-spirit which seems to have rubbed onto Kolkata Knight Riders, will see his team win the finals in the end."
Looking back, his words amazingly fit the outcome to a T. Megastar Shah Rukh Khan's team Kolkata Knight Riders beat Chennai Super Kings in the IPL final exactly the way the publicist had predicted.
Chennai Super Kings did take the "strong initial lead" with CSK finishing on a total of 190 for 3. But KKR chased it with "fighter-spirit" and finally beat CSK to win the IPL. Dale had also said, "Not that it would end the controversies, but KKR's victory will come as a breather to Brand SRK." True again indeed!
Brand Shah Rukh Khan has been on shaky ground ever since Ra.One and the scuffle with Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder. Followed the issue with the security during an IPL match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. And then, the charges about smoking publicly at a stadium in Jaipur during another match. At such a time, the IPL win comes as a big boost to Brand SRK.
