Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who once reportedly had an affair with actress Shilpa Shetty, expressed happiness over the birth of her son.

"It is a very good news. I hope everyone is healthy and happy and they remain so ever," Akshay told PTI.

Shetty gave birth to a baby boy at Hinduja Hospital in suburban Khar yesterday morning.

Post his break-up with Raveena Tandon, Akshay reportedly was engaged to Shilpa, but things went sour between the two and they broke up. The relationship did not work out as Akshay reportedly wanted his life partner to quit acting and Shilpa was career-oriented.

Following the break-up, Akshay married Twinkle Khanna in 2001 and has an 11-year old son Aarav. The couple is now expecting their second child.

Shilpa tied knot with London-based businessman Raj Kundra in 2009

I am happy that things are fine now between akki-shilpa! Even shilpa invited him to big boss season 1 which she hosted! They are on good terms since long now.

But too bad! akki wanted her to quit films, basically he wanted a trophy wife! Thats a little shallow!

Anyway, i hope he sorts out his differences with Raveena too, but that doesnt seem likely as the two ended on real bad terms. From what i know he didnt show up at their wedding? LOL i heard it somewhere! Man if its true he is lucky to be even alive haha!

a woman will never lie especially when she puts her heart over in a biography, she clearly mentions that akshay had just ditched her, he only approached her for one thing and left her like a used tissue. Shilpa doesn't know the guy does that thing even today very very smARTLY.😉 poor shilpa...its a man's world dear...hum sabko dua karni hai ki jab earth ke baad koi duniya bane wahan par en mardon ki band bajayi jae...😆 the only option left is to pray 🤣

your all facts are wrong.

Shilpa can never forget what akshay did to her..she wrote it all in her biography in which she had mentioned tht akshay used her as a theory of use and throw.

2) she didn't invite him dear...the channel did...he came for the promotion of Singh is King...and shilpa was uncomfortable seeing him...it was also in the articles...damn do i have to post those

3) he didn't want anything from her besides sex only.

4) Raveena still doesn't like his name to be heard...

AKSHAY is a maha devil in a true sense...but i like his smartness...itni saari ladkiyaan bhi kuch nahi kar sakein...PRIYANKA ne zarroor hilaya usko...but twinkle saved him. but for how long..we have to say...woh apni harkatoon se baaz to aayega nahi😉

Well thanks for enlightening me. What i meant was that every thing is not as ugly between akki and shilpa as it generally would have been. They can atleast fake smiles and wishes for each other unlike say Akki-Raveena or Salman-aishwarya who cannot even stand each other. Anyway happy for both the couples now, thats life; you have to move on!

P.S : i would really like to know what happened with akki-raveena! I remember watching her interview with simi gerawal once in which she mentioned something about their to be held shadi and his backing out last minute, How did they end up?

well akshay has been a rat...his relationship with Raveena was nothing like a cat and mouse game. Raveena was determined to get Akshay wanted to be a like a Azaad parinda. he enjoyed her over for his pleasure but wasn't ready to tie the knot with her. Raveena's condition slipped through the years and she was seen depressive many times otherwise her career wouldn't have been less than madhuri she had so many great offers. but she backed off becoz she was crazy for akshay. YEs Raveena somehow managed to get him hooked for marriage but she didn't knew what was his real intentions...he wasn't serious abt shilpa or raveena, just wanted them in bed.

Now he played the exact game with Twinkle...but oh boy Twinkle swore off she would kill herself if he didn't marry her...twinkle's some friend source revealed..tht akshay wasn't keen off marrying her...and twinkle cut her wrist off...twinkle actually got him this time...and left no option for akshay to get out.

but Twinkle forget that Akshay is an animal. he kept his activities active even after the marriage. his number of sleeping with women is much higher than sanjay dutt...twinkle knows everything but she keeps quiet...becoz she has seen her mom suffer so how can she do the same thing...she knows her man is defintely 'not one woman's man' . so she has adjusted a lot...and that is life
