Abhi, a couple of other points more of detail than anything else:
While much of the earlier part of the scene was repetitive, Purvii poured her heart out about the hurt and the feeling of betrayal she had endured - it was one long litany of pain, more than of anger. Whatever she might pretend, even to herself, she cannot free herself from him, and both of them know that. She says as much - "You forced me to fall in love with you, you showed me dreams and made me promises and then mujhe chhod diya. Kyon kiya aise? I have no one to share my feelings with (about this mess), and while I had forgotten Vinay like a bad dream, how can I forget this?"
Arjun was far more aggressive than he has ever been so far, and I think he is getting desperate. What with Purvi saying that she does not love him any more, and Ovi sticking to him like a corn plaster - leading to the curious menage a trois (threesome) scene in the precap, the poor guy just might crack up and tell her everything.
The furore that will be triggered then will be something to see, especially if Savita has in the meantime been added to this witches' cauldron of a 'script'! Purvi will then realise, wrt her eagerness for Arjun to tell Ovi about them, the truth of the old saying that there is only one thing worse than not getting what you want, and that is getting it.
Shyamala
Thnx Shyamala,
I have not seen any of it, will see it tonight..."I do not know if this scene made Purvi realise how tough it can be to tell the truth and to bear the consequences."I do hope Purvi realizes and gives some benefit of doubt to Arjun (although he has goofed up many a time and like you said should take Ovi where there is no cell phone, no meeting, no distraction and TELL HER THE TRUTH about ARVI)...😳
"Purvi has chosen the best way to hit back at him by insisting that she does not love him any more (right now, she is trying to salvage her hurt pride as best as she can). But I am sure he does not believe her, she looks too woebegone and vulnerable, and then there is the male ego! "Loved this analysis too (liked all of it and how you go about writing with emotions but with your head on ur shoulders and really described well), hit the nail on the head 😊
Yes, i do hope our dear dear Arjun somehow between Purvi and OVi, gets somewhere trying to convey his feelings to someone and gets across to them (especially Ovi, who has the more to lose as she is planning on a future banking entirely on DK uncle's son AK) without the throat clearing, without the silences, without the disruptions / interruptions/ cell phones, or just "I have to say something important to you" or "believe me"...Liked ur post where u said only if Arjun could take Teju into confidence, so much simpler, i do like her. 😊Not looking forward to the return of Cruela Deville Savita...🤢
